Steps to reproduce:
1. Enter the Crown of Keldegonn trial and complete phase 1.
2. Proceed to the grappling hook phase.
3. Experience lag while using the grappling hook
Observed result: The lagging player rubber bands back into the gap between islands, or loses their connection to the grappling post due to the lag, and falls down into the abyss below, permanently defeated. The team cannot proceed with that player, and if no longer a viable team, will fail the whole trial.
Expected result: The lagging player either completes the grapple action, fails to start it, or is reset to a state where they have not started grappling. The lagging player does not get reset into a state where they fall halfway through as if they had dropped the grappling hook or teleported backwards.
In some play sessions has been the cause of more wipes than any other mechanic in the trial. This is absurd since it should be the simplest part of the trial and not even part of combat.
Steps to reproduce:
1. Enter Crown of Keldegonn trial
2. Have Valindra target player with Necro Bolt attack.
3. Player moves the red circle AOE to a place where it is NOT near any party members, but overlaps a mirage from someone's Mirage weapon set.
Observed result: Player targeted by Necro Bolt dies.
Expected result: Player does not take lethal damage due to having successfully performed the mechanic.
Mirages tend to not be clearly visible in the heat of combat, and they are unable to participate in the mechanic by avoiding the person with the AOE, so they should not be able to cause players to die as if they had failed the mechanic. This tends to cause unexpected deaths, reducing the likelihood of completing the trial.
I've now cleared Crown of Keldegonn six times on the live server, and not a single person in the queue on each of those attempts were able to receive or pick up a weapon. We've tried searching the platform thoroughly, double-checked system messages to make sure it wasn't picked up - it just does not drop.
Steps to reproduce:
1. Queue for Crown of Keldegonn with any eligible character.
2. Successfully complete the trial.
Expected result: Trial weapon drops on ground, to be picked up and rolled amongst the queue members.
Observed result: Trial weapon does not drop at all.
Side question: is the loot table also affected with this bug? The only thing that has dropped in the chests that is unique to the trial is companion gear. Nobody who has completed has seen anything else drop other than the rewards you can get from any dungeon chest.
How was this not corrected before patch release? I wasted keys on a lockbox that provides items I can't use. I can only sell them or break them down. Why aren't the new motes more accessible, or even an option in lockboxes? Im a returning player and this is NOT player friendly anymore.
