Best : Power armor and Munitions Worst : Archery all around. This was my first AT before i went lifer, and it almost had me quit and uninstall CO after 20 minutes of playing.
Hmm, yes, i get what you mean about being satisfied of winning over someone. But i mean, from this to outright sending hate mail like Nepht pointed out in a previous post, or feeling the need to humiliate people in chat, for instance... I just don't get why some players seem to get a kick out of it. That's just me, i guess…
True. Still, the result is the same : they're basically hating on absolute strangers they know nothing about. They don't even know what they look like or where they live for that matter... In other words, it's about as productive as hating on a player handle or an internet ID... And speaking of this, here's one question…
The "Become Black Talon" device is a total swindle. Months ago, i bought one from the AH for what seemed to be a ridiculously low price, with hopes that it would prove interesting to use... By the Gods, was i wrong... Not only did Black Talon hit about as hard as a tetraplegic granny, but to top it all, the device was…
"If someone treats you like ****, just remember there is something wrong with them, not you. Normal people don't go around destroying others." That also goes the other way for these very people who enjoy causing turmoil : "If you're out and about and you meet an asshole, you're unlucky. If you're out and everyone you meet…
If the devs only have so much resources to spend, they might at least give us an equivalent to STO's foundry, so some players will at least take it upon themselves to provide the new content that CO lacks (inevitably along with some troll/garbage content as well, i reckon, but then, that's the price to pay for access to…
This. The 10 kill perk requirement was nice, and all in all, i thought the boss strat for Eido was pretty basic. But 50 kills ? Thanks, but no... Not going to condone the downgrading of a fun group event into a boring grindfest.
No, thanks. - Because i never enjoyed any form of PvP whatsoever, be it on CO on in any other MMO. - Because my characters are themed, and thus so is their build ; if i have to select a very precise range of powers to have a decent PvP build at the cost of ruining the theme, that's a no. - Because i find PvP rewards…
I know, right? Eido is basically the only Cosmic i was really interested in. Ape? No costume options. Kiga? Unappealing costume options, and that demon head looks ridiculous. Dino? Unless i want to reroll a raptor, meh... Anyway, that change is not going to incentivize me a whole lot regarding Cosmic farming, i guess.
Really?? Ugh... At first i thought farming Eido ten times wasn't that bad, and even fun. But seriously, 50 times just to grab a cape option? By the time i'm done, i might just have lost interest in those costume parts :(
Welcome back, Biff ! Glad to see you were able to solve your comp troubles... I know by experience these things usually tend to happen at the worst time possible XD Love the latest update ! Amazing details on Cobalt's armor, and thanks for adding the enviro-replicator jetpack to Doctor Fahrenheit's armor ! :)
This is odd... I myself have a toon who uses that one head and has an eye aura, and it fits just right... Sorry that it doesn't do the trick :( Edit : just checked again, and... found out it actually does not fit that well on my toon either, contrary to what i thought... o.o Thing is, the aura i use is quite big, so it is…
I noticed it tends to happen more with certain sidekicks. The Spiderbot in particular appears buggy... R.O.D. and Zhu'yin don't seem to despawn that randomly, though.
The Monstrous Werewolf 01 head could do the trick. It's more badass-looking than truly 'monstrous', and if i remember right, the eyes are positioned just right for an aura. Also, the eyes blink, unlike the rather stiff-looking basic wolf heads <.<
Welcome aboard ! We got cookies and super-powers... If you're seeking to socialize on CO, your best bet is to join an active Supergroup. Be sure to browse the forum for recruitment messages, or check the zone chat...
Well, most of the time, though, one can tell the difference between people harmlessly stating a divergence of opinion, and blatant griefing with the intent of causing moral humiliation. This, in part because many self-proclaimed trolls aren't, in truth, as clever and subtle as they claim to be... And on metaverses such as…
This reminds me of one case of hating/trolling i had to deal with, back in the days when i was an active Star Wars RPer on Second Life. The Star Wars universe had always been a source of fascination for me, and with Second Life's possibilities, you really had the occasion to roleplay as any species you desired. So at some…
As long as the Internet is a thing, there will be parasitic no-lifers in search of manliness to latch onto it, hoping to do like all the other cool kidz around.
Even then, though, whether Han shot first or not, or even the Special Edition's half-pointless re-workings, are not really what irks me the most about the Star Wars saga. My real complain about it is the all-too-obvious difference of materials between the original trilogy and the prequel trilogy. I mean, each time i watch…
As a child from the 80's, i am myself moderately annoyed at the successive re-workings of the original trilogy. I mean, it's just awesome as it, and we didn't need more useless eye-candy (yes, i'm looking at you, Max Rebo Band from ROTJ Special Edition). As for the infamous Han Shot First meme... Seriously, Georges? Why…
The event's mechanics first tend to make the thing pretty frustrating as long as you don't get the hang of it. Afterwards, it's a pretty basic strat, although you do have to face off with some rather tough mobs, so dying a few times is a thing here. My own beef would be rather with the rewards, of which only one or two…
Hello Kitty Online. That's it. We're all doomed. Better trade all our power armor parts for frilly dresses with ribbons, and all our mods for chocolate cookies !
Wow ! Awesome, thanks Biff :) Cobalt and the Doc look fabulous. I love the details and accuracy :+1: Just one thing, though : Doctor Fahrenheit (upper right) seems to be missing his jetpack (the model is Enviro Replicator Thruster). Just thought i'd mention it. But it's alright if it's intentional for the sake of gaining…
Agreed with that 100%. As of right now, Aftershock is impossible to complete as a solo player... The Avatars' powers are simply laughable in comparison to the combined might of Defender and Witchcraft, and some of the abilities available for use aren't even properly working against them. The control effects in particular…
