Hello Heroes the Hero Throwdown lottery winner's picture is finally posted. "Congratz to Sister Silicon Prime!"

I have to backtrack a little here, I could not find a good pose for this one and I had no desire to draw you two in civies, so the result is that I met you halfway. You are both one second away from sealing and powering up your respective battle systems, you do however have to suffer this banter.

Iron Man "Just shut up, get on that table and let me fix you!"

Sister Silicon Prime "I'm not one of your inventions or your conquests, Tony!

Oh, and as regards the supposed "controversy" here...

Just because Brittania's unaging doesn't necessarily mean she's completely immortal. She should really be screened for breast cancer too.

As my wife's chest tattoo says, "SAVE THE TA-TAS!!"

That is perfect. Thanks, AC! Alternate caption:

Cool and no worries pal. The drawing is about half ways done and I waited for feedback to be fair to the others.

I am trying to be the bigger man here but I really wish people would stop replying with messages like she fits, or it doesn't matter or she won. She didn't and I made the call on the original post, and Britannia said I'll go by whatever you guys decide, honestly. I see your dilemma AC. Which by the way was very big of you and I appreciate it.
All I really wanted to know was should I go ahead anyways or did people want me to re-roll, remember, if I pulled her from the list, somebody else would have won. Anyways the show of support was enough to start the doodle so please do not respond to this new post negatively.

Britannia if your as big a comic fan as I am, I think you are going to be pleased. The drawing should be up this weekend.

So in needing to find a new approach for my Breast Cancer Awareness Month doodle, I decided to add a certain, world famous bio-chemist, to be a guest star and have him deliver the tagline I wanted to accompany the picture. In my mind Britannia, being larger than life, might require or want the attention of larger than life doctor. Sadly, I discovered my ribbon loop was a little small and began to disappear into the background so I had to add a few "forced" shadows to bring it back in the foreground.

    Hello Heroes
(ooc) I'm having some family issues and could use a distraction. I'm going to run an older lottery but with a minor twist, it's normally called the Hero Throwdown but this time around were going to call it the Marvel Throwdown.
What happens when two heroes are forced to to team up to take down a common foe? A super brawl, and that's what I going to run, Marvel (Hero) Throwdown. Which mainstream Marvel Hero would you Throwdown with in a classic superhero battle? What I need from you is the name of your hero, their affiliation and which hero they would Throwdown with. This is not about RP, it's about getting your geek on. I'll close this sometime Thursday night, not sure when because of the family stuff but it will be a quick one regardless.

Standard Lottery Rules (these never change):
    (1) Post the name of your hero, affiliation and the hero you would Throwdown with.
    (2) Post your global name.
    (3) Post a full body, full color picture of the hero (doesn't need to be big, just showing head to toe).
    * the screen-cap does not need to be posted till a winner is announced, no screen cap no doodle however.

Now that's an awesome surprise! I totally love it, especially that jerky grin with the cigarette. (What a rebel!) The armor is close enough; even when I draw him the armor is totally different than the in-game version, so it totally works.

The kid version of Offender is really just a gag I pulled for Christmas way back in the day, so his bio doesn't really make sense as a kid. Sorry if it was a bit confusing. :P

eiledon's right even if the Bunni B.O.T. one skirted a little too close to the edge. One of the guys at work actually printed it and pinned it on the cork board at work both to embarrass me and because he really liked it.

Pin-Up is actually a simple term it means a full page spread of a single image, suitable for pinning up. They come from comics books, magazines, older rock & roll albums, etc. and are usually quite topical and safe.

Pin-Up girls started this way as well but quickly became their own artform. They range from safe advertising, propaganda and to full nudes, depending on where you pulled it from. The risque but safe stuff became hugely popular and is simply some of the best artwork of it's kind.

From a personal point of view I went this way to simply to make sure my pieces wouldn't get pulled from the public forums, like Champions Online.

I made this a long, long time ago to prove a lame point. However this would be a good example of a Pin-Up from one of the many Anime magazines release here in North America back in the eighties. They always had a naughty section of pages you had to cut yourself.

I haven't forgotten this piece and I admit I had quite a bit of difficuly getting a feel for it but here it is. In order to keep both recognizable, face forward and to avoid having one shooting offhand I decided to do a card theme. It should be balanced enough that it can be rotated just like a playing card.
    ThrowdownCard:
    ThrowdownCard_zps87bdb74b.jpg
    ThrowdownCardR:
    ThrowdownCardR_zps7972aa17.jpg
So while it's not quite as physical as I would normally like, I do think it captures the skill vs skill face off and I do hope you get a kick out of it.

Definitely a unique concept. I had totally forgotten about how they would face each other. I'm also going to assume that they'll have arrows? :P

If you observe the arrow hand they have let loose their charges. If I were to have drawn a second picture like a comic panel, the two arrows would be colliding in midair, I like to keep the Throwdown neutral. I tend to beat up the heroes more in the Marvel Mash-Ups.

Thanks but I can't claim credit, there are a lot of great images of the Joker & Batman done up as the Jack face card, quite a few done up as (insert Hero here)/Death card. It's a great, real world image of the constant struggle between good and evil.

Hello Heroes, I'm going to launch a special version of the Payback Lottery. I've been feeling a little nostalgic and playing a remake of one of my older Legacy toons, so this Payback is going to reflect those feelings.

If you've followed me or my DA page you will know I did a picture called City of Champions and yes it is an intentional mash-up of City of Heroes and Champions Online. I am looking for two those that remade their City of Heroes character here in Champions. I say two because one of my heroes will take the background or third position. All the normal rules apply, plus you must be able to post a screencap of your CoH toon as well as your CO toon - there must be an obvious resemblance. I don't mean to sound picky but Nostalgia means authentic heroes not simple redresses.

Standard Lottery Rules (these never change):
    (1) Post the name of your hero, (insert theme requirement).
    (2) Post your global name.
    (3) Post a full body, full color picture of the hero (doesn't need to be big, just showing head to toe).
    * do not post the screen-cap until a winner is announced, no screen cap no doodle however.

I will let this one run a bit longer and close it Sunday night. As always feel free to ask question here or in game. Thanks in advance,
    AC
