Hello Heroes
It's me again, Agent Canada currently running around on my free account as the Silver Sentry. Following Liath's advice I'm linking my previous threads in this new one just in case you aren't familiar with the name and to lend a certain coherency top this thread.
http://co-forum.perfectworld.com/showthread.php?t=256531
http://co-forum.perfectworld.com/showthread.php?t=265891

As I'm playing my free AT:The Blade (and as my weekend just got messed up) we're going to continue my Silver AT Lottery. I am going to spotlight the Blade AT and yes I mean the AT specifically. I will need to know the name of your weapon skin/costume unlock. This is one of those spontaneous lotteries and that means it's the first proper post that wins

The Spotlight Lottery: Blade AT
(1) Post the name of your hero, AT and weapon skin.
(2) Post your global name.
(3) Post a full body, full color picture of the hero (doesn't need to be big, just showing head to toe).
AC
Ps. You get to choose between The Hand or The Foot Clans.

Wow, no love for the Blade AT or ninjas, oh well it happens some times. I have been doodling a Freebie version of Presto's Lottery which is turning out pretty good , so I guess that will be the first pic on this thread.

I've been trying to get into this, but I can't find where CO's been storing my screenshots since starting with Steam. I'll try again to get a pic of Finesse in here...

AC, I have tweaked Swash's colours slightly and changed his belt......

But please feel free to choose whatever image you like...this one or the first one I posted :-)

P.S. Dunno why the blade of his sword came out blue in this pic......it's really just typical steel colour.

I woulda jumped in, I love your art, but my blade is just starting and it'd feel wrong to try to get art with a level 10 character.

Seriously looking forward to this, though, and sorry to hear that you're stuck on a blade for the weekend. :)

Thanks, drawing up a character that may be killed off a day or two later is always kind of frustrating.

Actually, yeah, AC, you've drawn a lot of my characters already. Had I money, I'd be commissioning you to do more of them.

Most of my toons have their current costumes in my Photobucket, except for a couple of the newer ones (Fishmonger, for instance - an Unleashed wielding dual trout). But I first did Finesse in blue and gold, and decided later that black and gold worked better with both his look and his backstory. (He was an Olypic-level fencer who also worked as a stuntman in Hollywood, specializing in sword and knife fights. Then the accident happened, that gave him the ability to project a neuroparalytic energy field along a blade; after that, he was disqualified from the Olympics for being a super, and movie producers stopped employing him, claiming they couldn't afford the insurance. So he did what one does under such circumstances - he became a superhero.)

The Silver AT theme is an ongoing one and I rather not open the same AT again, so Swashbuckler is a good fit.

    Hello Heroes
A while back I offered to let my pal prestochango run or pick the theme for what would've been the next lottery. Turns out he really liked one of my specialty pieces and wanted to do something similar here as a lottery. It featured a large Starro and several small heroes being attacked by it's offspring. We decided on Marvel's Destroyer as the big bad guy but I couldn't figure out how to ask people to commit to a lottery when their characters were going to be so small they might not be recognizable. It was cool idea though and when I needed something to draw, I sort of just started doing it as a freebie.
    DESTROYER01:
    DESTROYER01_zps6b4146c0.jpg
As a Freebie I simply went looking for heroes who had never won one of my lotteries and had some easily searched for images. It's not 100% accurate but then it can't be, the heroes are pretty tiny. I hope the heroes involved get a big kick out of this doodle.

    Hello Heroes.
I got my sketch for the Spotlight Lottery and have started my inks so let's get the next lottery started. I am giving myself a headstart on this one and Thundrax agreed to be my official guest star in the Canada Day Lottery a while back. I'm looking for two Canadian Heroes to join him for this holiday doodle. The positions are going to be a little different this time, Thundrax will be the center but may be in the foreground or background depending on the winners comparative sizes.

This will be an official lottery and I will close it Thursday night, obviously I will need a minimum if two entries. Let me clarify that I'm looking for a Canadian hero, not necessarily a Super Patriot but the Canuck must show through. Thundrax can you post the screen cap of whichever costume you prefer to be drawn in, thanks in advance.

Thanks AC, I now have a reason to finally make a canadian and at the same time maybe actually use Glacier for once (bit of irony since my other 3 slots each have a tank in it...)

Anyway, my Canadian hero, with a mix of classic and modern to spice him up is Absolute Zero! (I couldn't think of a good ice related name...)

    lREOBnF.jpg

A shot of him from above detailing the rest of his body. (Since you you do very nice black and white pics, color isn't a issue, no?)

Not at all, I let others handle the colours for the majority of these pics. I do try to keep the lines fairly clean just in case someone does want to step up and do a render wherever I can though.

    "I certainly did....but you destroyed Brit's cape"

Thanks for the compliments, at least you're not the charred ember behind Cavalier.

There's lots of room left and I'm closing this one Thursday night. I would like to point out that while I named the new thread The Firewatch Art Initiative to promote the SG, the majority of the lotteries are still open to all. Simply follow the rules and enter the ones that interest to you.

I have one, but it's only tangentially my character.

    Fighting-Canadian@Rune.

I'm technically sort of entering for my buddy, who asked me to roleplay Champions Earth's version of Fighting-Canadian, even as he keeps up with the original one, who is a "refugee hero" from CoH.

    Same costume though!

Usual deal, post a screen only if he wins in the die roll?

Hello Heroes, no need for an update yet but I do want address the comments so far.

"It's just Absolute Zero AC lol."

I'm a lousy typist so I just usually Cut&Paste peoples replies when I make the list. Did I get something wrong?

"I'd enter, but I've only got the one Canuck, and you've already drawn him. Wouldn't want to be greedy."

That's very big of you but not necessary, the random draw is fair enough.

"I have one, but it's only tangentially my character. Fighting-Canadian@Rune."

I know the character, drawn him one or twice before I think but I have to ask if you actually have a "Fighting-Canadian" hero. If you actually play the character I'll say yes, but if it's RP only then I'll have to say no. I'm very strict with my active players only rule.

I'll update the list tomorrow or later tonight if I need to make any changes.

All I really need to start is your heights and a screen cap for Wolf Bane.

according to the ruler in ren cen, Wolf Bane is 7 feet tall exactly (which i lucky cos in the tailor it says he is 7' too, but he has disproportionately short legs for a humanoid)

As for his look, he has his original canadian costume

Thanks Raven  Swashy was the first toon I created in CO. Although I don't play him as much as I used to, he still holds a special place in my roster. He'll be sure to give you a bow and a winning grin if he sees you in-game.

Hey all and thanks for all the positive comments. I glad you like Swashbuckler zenith, some character are just easier to capture than others.

Like it? I love it, man

Disregard this. Though they are right, you did capture that character's personality well.

Indeed I did AC, and please just call me Kuro. I was extremely tired when I did that post, so just let me do a smidge editing.

    Hello Heroes
I am going to miss my Canada Day deadline as the original sketch got crushed and I had to start over. Since I am going to miss my deadline anyway, I thought I might offer up a July 4th lottery (with no deadline) after all.

The title says it all, I'm looking for a Pin-Up Girl. The requirements are simple you hero must be female, patriotic costume/name, and be willing to pose for a "safe" cheesecake style doodle. It ill be a safe doodle -no real nudity- but I will try to capture a cheeky, sexiness so I am asking that the star be 18+ both in age and appearance. Probably redundant but this must be a real character, and not just a re-costume of an old character. I kind of wish I thought of this for Canada Day but there's always a later lottery.

Standard Lottery Rules (these never change):
    (1) Post the name of your hero, (see above theme requirement).
    (2) Post your global name.
    (3) Post a full body, full color picture of the hero (doesn't need to be big, just showing head to toe).
    * do not post the screen-cap until a winner is announced, no screen cap no doodle however.

The July 4th Pin-Up Girl Lottery
    (01)
    (02)
    (03)
    (04)
    (05)

There's no deadline on getting the drawing posted but the lottery itself closes Friday. As always, feel free to ask questions here or in-game,
    AC

Hi AC. When you say "patriotic", does that mean ANY country?
