Forgive me if this is already mentioned. I made it through 15 pages of posts before I gave up, but I didn't see Ad-aware on the Wiki, but I don't know what category it would be in so I might have missed it. Visiting the floating billboards by Rec area (the helipad and powerhouse area, in case i have used Rec incorrectly)

    That's because it's spelled Adaware.

It's listed under the category for Complete Perks Listing, as well as for Collection.

Thank you. Did the perk hunting supergroup back on page 15 ever get formed? I looked for one in the supergroup area and didn't see it.

Yes, it has been brought up several times

Personally I like having my own 1 man supergroup for extra bank space. Really all we need is a vent or a forums.

Hero Games: Volatile perk: Fixed a bug that caused players not to receive credit for the Volatile perk on the High-Tech arena map.

That is from the patch notes for the maintenance tonight.

Anyone have any idea what this perk will be for / was from and how you can get back to the High-Tech arena if you've leveled past that range?

Edit: I don't suppose you can sidekick down and go wth a team that queues for a lower-level PvP map?

It is for a luchidor costume piece like the others I assume. And the Devs have said in time they are going to try to do it but you can not right now.

Well, actually I was asking more of it anyone had earned it on the PTS yet (since I am assuming that if a patch goes to live that it'll have been on the PTS first even if undocumented there) and from that knew how to get it.

Was pretty sure it was just going to be another luchador costume piece but curious about what it takes to earn the perk because even if I don't want the costume piece that would be a fun title to have (somewhat assuming it'll be a title perk since Ceiling Cat was and this looks to be another map specific title).

From reading over in the PvP thread linked earlier there is some object you destroy. I want to say they even said it was labeled Volatile.

info on how to do this is on the wiki i believe, it has nothing to do with jumping off each building or landing on them, but jumping off a specific spot towards the center of the ren center

It took me a while to do it. The time I actually got it to trigger, I flew about halfway down through the trench along the main circle path. I had it listed as in progress before that though.

Is it called something other than Base Jumper? I can't find anything with "base" and "jump" on the wiki...unless it's a diff wiki than the one usually referenced here?

NM, found it in another thread:

    Go to Location: 5690 1315 -969

Jump off the hexagonal type platform and keep pressing forward to aim in to the middle of Recon Centre.

    Confirmed it myself.

Wonder what the magic is? I've tried it high, low, clockwise, counterclockwise, taking damage, not taking damage, hugging walls, in the center, etc.

This is infuriating. Did lap after lap after lap, at varying altitude. I have the perk incomplete and no indicator of what it needs. Annoying that it's so picky.

No luck with Top of the World. I have some refinements to a couple of others, though.

Ceiling Cat - you not only need to get on top of the cage, but you have to target someone below you. If you don't have a travel power that will get you there, a quest in Canada (mentioned earlier) gives an item that'll give you temporary acrobatics. Leap to a ledge across from the cage, then up onto the cage.

Base Jumper - Go to the entrance to the arms building in ren center. Look up. You'll see a piece of the building sticking out that looks like a diving board. Go there and step off, rather than jumping. (I've always continued to hold forward.) Anyway, to repeat: DO NOT JUMP, just step off.

I haven't been able to quite reach it with my acrobatics character, probably because of the early travel power slowdown. I can ALMOST make it over to the building jumping from the blimp, but not quite - I'm hoping that the acrobatics advantage at 20 increases jump distance enough. (Not that a serious perk hunter character should have a non-flying power.)

tried that outside in the lens, inside checking every nook and crany. nothing.
Also of note on the third floor, right where you spawn, look under the staircase, a box for munitions too bad it gives nothing, but it is blinking.

FOr top of the world i had to go around the buildings twice before it triggered. second time i went up each ledge platform oneach building to see which was the marked as the top of the building.

the person doing the trench did you fly, have you tried walking? - havent done it myself just wondering if it walk triggered

I know that many months ago, you could get a perk for standing right on the lip of the telescope, in front of the lens. It hasn't seemed to do that for many months though, so I'm not sure if it even still exists.

Everything generally has a format, so just look at something similar and just replicate it. Or post it on the wiki forum if you need help with something.

oh, I don't know - some of these are related to missing missions...and fixing those would functionally be "adding content" which is high up on the list.

It's a bugged quest. Your only hope is to get in after a server reset and instance hop. Then hope yours doesn't bug out.

Found a friend to do ET Clone Home for me (I'd already done it and missed the lore), and I'm not getting credit for Telio vs Qwi! I'm sitting here clicking on it like a mad man. My friend isn't either.

    *sigh*

That means that, when they do fix it, I'll have to grovel instance to instance to find someone else who's not done it yet. Bugger.

There are two in there that are broken, but I think that might be one of those instances that is always open. Doesn't matter if you are on the mission.

Doesn't hurt if you bug report it though. Might help it get fixed faster.

So I was looking at the My Character pages and the 'current missions' (which includes perks in progress) and saw a few I don't remember seeing before. Has anyone managed to complete:

    Fool's Gold
Escort Field Researcher Viera as he makes his way around the Atomic Wastelands searching for irradiated gold deposits, ensuring he completes it alive.
I only recall seeing this guy in a rad suit once standing by a bunch of Radiation Eaters. At the time he was just standing there broken and not doing anything. That was during the Early Start.

    From Bad to Worse
Travel from the entrance to Eclipse's Cave to Tilingkoot's Altar.
Not sure where exactly the Altar is to travel too.

    Tower Assault
Kill the VIPER agents surrounding the isolated tower in Rime Woods
Uh.. What tower in Rime Woods?

    A Taste for the Toxic
Sample the toxic bursts of each of the terraforming spires in Fallen Sun Forest
I spent a while last night trying this, visiting each of the spires that periodically spit out red smoke for damage, what I presume you are supposed to sample. No perk yet and no progress listing in-game.

    Garbage Collector
Pick up and throw 25 objects on the Westside B.A.S.H. map.
Didn't see this one on the wiki and haven't been back to BASH yet to try it.

    Defeat 10 Modern Evil Spirits
    Defeat 100 Modern Evil Spirits
    Defeat 1000 Modern Evil Spirits

What even are 'Modern Evil Spirits'?

    Pacify the Spirits
Find and defeat the five angered Spirits of Nature
This is listed on the wiki, but I've been unable to get credit for the wolf defeats (Freki and Geri). Has anyone completed this recently?

Up by where Kigitilik is? Hmm. I've flown around up there a little but still need a few more levels to start missioning there.

For some reason, I had assumed that was Kigitilk's altar and not Tilingkoot's and that it would be somewhere on the east side of the map. Will have to look around some more then and figure out exactly what path they expect you to follow from the SE to the NW corners of the map. Good to know though, thanks.

Oh, did it say Tilingkoot's. Still NW, little ways a ways from Kigi's altar. I guess I misread it since I picked up that perk tonight while I was flying by kiga's alter

Ah, so you have managed to earn it then?

I'll have to fly around up there some more. I really do wonder what the 'path' you are supposed to follow for the perk is though. Suppose I will have to fly back and forth over any parts of the map that is still 'fog of war'd out on my character's map to see if that does it for me.
