Which is a seriously anti-consumer move. When we bought Zen it was represented to us that we could allocate it to various PWE properties whenever we chose to do so. It was never mentioned that at some point we would be force to allocate or lose it. Refunds are in order. And surely will not be forthcoming. Because that's…
Seth MacFarlane has pledged to match every dollar between $4M and $5M! http://www.nytimes.com/aponline/2014/06/26/arts/ap-us-reading-rainbow-macfarlane.html?_r=1
The just lowered the prices to meet LeVar at a Con or FanFest: Rewards to HANG WITH LEVAR AT A FAN CONVENTION are now just $350, and include 2 full event passes, 2 invitations to a private Meet & Greet with LeVar, 2 signed headshots, as well as an exclusive collectible and a copy of The Bionic Bunny Show, the classic…
Check out the video in their first update https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/readingrainbow/bring-reading-rainbow-back-for-every-child-everywh/posts/858121 You can tell how much this means to LeVar. Oh waitasec - he's a professional actor. Hmm. I'm deciding to believe he's not that good an actor :)
Everything after this point is just your wishful thinking. As you say, no one knows what the real stats are other than Cryptic, and they seem to be okay with the system as is, in spite of hundreds of requests to the contrary. This is a pretty big clue which way the stats lean - after all, Cryptic is in the business of…
"Accurate enough?" Hardly. You were exaggerating, and thus your argument is the opposite of valid. You asked for double of 2-6. If you can't figure out what that is, ask someone else to read my first post to you.
Dear. God. 1. A Lobi ship costs 800 Lobi. 1250 Lobi isn't "nearly twice" 800. It's only 56.25% more. 2. If the old rate was 2-6 pics, doubling it as you request would give 4-12. Not 8-12 as you mistakenly calculate. 3. If you've been doing the Featured Episode, you should have more than 500 free Lobi by this Thursday. In…
And several games have pretty much proved that it's a market largely unaddressable with videogames. And if you got *all* these wannabe Klingons to play STO, the population blip wouldn't even be noticed. You notice these people at a con because they stand out. But unless you can find a hundred thousand of these people and…
We can argue about whether protesting would be appropriate. But it certainly wouldn't have required much effort for him to stop patronizing that store. The fact that he continued to do so is what makes his whole story rather pathetic.
No one is saying that there isn't. However, any reasonable person ought to be okay with receiving lessened rewards if they have to leave the keyboard for a significant amount of time. If they feel otherwise, we're going to have to bring out the 'E' word again.
All of those are legitimate reasons to go afk. I don't think any of those are legitimate reasons to go afk and expect to be fully rewarded in spite of not participating. (Ok, except for the demonic possession. You should be able to continue playing.)
It's really not so much a matter of belief as a matter of fact. By continuing to patronize his store, you were helping him stay in business and helping him cheat other customers. You're clear in the legal sense, but ethically? You're in no position to be throwing stones.
Actually the Galactica would win, not for the reason you think though. It would win because it's the only one with weapons that could actually work in reality.
Understand the Cryptic and PWE are still experimenting with the Western market. Neverwinter had 3 packages, $20, $60 and $200. It's tempting to speculate that they sold more $60 packages than they expected, and less $200 packages. So now they have a $125 package and they're going to see how that does - in short, they're…
Have you seen this post? http://sto-forum.perfectworld.com/showthread.php?p=9293391#post9293391 It doesn't come out and say it, but it sure looks like it's per character. (Because the ability to reclaim only after all 4 are dismissed makes it look like you can claim it repeatedly, but the DOFFs are unique.)
This is not true though. If a fleet can't field full pre-made teams, they will acquire whatever widgets they need to advance more slowly, as they are at the mercy of PuGs. In some cases this is a many-fold increase in the number of man-hours needed to progress.
