It def seems the problem does like more towards the Arc launcher doesn't it.

For you guys that had to uninstall AWCC are you running the game through ARC or Steam? For me i had the problem obviously when AWCC did its little recent update and stopped the game from being able to launch through ARC but that i installed it from Steam im able to launch the game successfully and keep AWCC on my system…

Awesome news to hear that helped to get it back to work!! How do you remove AWCC from the startup routine? Ive never messed with settings like that before.

Looks like this was the problem then for me too. I do remember AWCC doing a small update as i opened it up to check the sound settings on my wireless headset. But is the problem between Arc & AWCC because this time i downloaded the game through steam and i was once again able to start the game back up successfully.

Just a quick update... I deleted again my game file and this time installed through my Steam Client and finally the game loaded perfectly once again. So would this mean the problem is through the Arc launcher and a conflicting issue with Windows?

Still not working unfortunately this morning that i tried it again :( Might delete again the copy of my game and this time try to install it and run it through the Steam client...Not sure if im wasting my time or not??

Yeah for these past 6 months the game has been running flawless never had one issue at all. Ive done all the scan and checks with everything coming back clear. Tested a few others games i have installed and all are running and loading up fine (CoD MW, WoT, Doom Eternal).

Thank you for testing it on your end. Yeah i get the feeling its something to do with windows. I noticed before soon as i hit the engage button on the launcher and then pressed ctrl alrt delete Star Trek Online client in the task manager was showing as not responding. So something is holding it up all of a sudden. Weird…

When I got my MacBook Pro in July STO was running fine on it. After though when the Delta Expansion pack/OS X came out I haven't been able to play the game again ever since :( Same issues as other has been saying that the game will just on random lock up. Thank god I found this thread..cause I have been going crazy for the past 3-4 weeks. Since then is when my issues with STO began. Say out of the 10 times I try to start the game 8 times it will lock up with in 60 secs of booting up the game. Sometimes it completely freezes the PC when it forces me to to a hard shut down…

The PC is only about 7 months old.. I cant believe its already clogged up with dust etc. Plus being a Alienware im not sure if im allowed to open the case as it might void the warranty?? The graphics card drivers are all up to date via the Nvidia Geforce experience program. If the GPU was overheating can it crash the game…

I can't believe it but after 150+ STFs of KA I finally got both Mark 12 Deflectors. Very weird..I got them back to back as well.. So strange. For the ground missions i have never gotten any Prototype mark 12 drops.. But to be honest i dont play ground elite much at all. I have gotten many Rare armour/weapons drops but yeh never Proto. I have noticed this as well. I have 3 toons on my account (TAC,ENG,SCI) My Tac is the main one created from the start and i have managed to get both sets of OMEGA & MACO mark 12.
