  • N/M for confirmation the Claim button you need *is* in the reputation events screen
  • I have this issue as well but have not had a ticket response.
  • There's no option for that... it still just shows the meter half full.
  • Nope, not working for me. I got it from the zen store last night and it disappeared from the shop. However it has not appeared anywhere else, not in the event/campaign tab or my inventory. The only thing I can think is that it has something to do with me using a low rank character to unlock it and maybe it won't show up…
  • Okay, so I bought out the coupon and it has disappeared from the store... but has not materialised in inventory. Any ideas?
  • Ah, I see... mea culpa. It's the March date in the corner that caused me confusion. Than ks for setting me staright.
  • Needless to say I'm not fussed about tips at all. The whole reason I feel bad about the Foundry going is that it was a forum for storytelling. If a story meant something in even the smallest of ways to someone... that is/was worth infinitely more to me than any dilithium remuneration.
  • Thanks guys, let me know what your missions are and I will try to return the favour.
  • Sorry. My main issue was the initial one and that's something I'm sure I've only experienced since reboot (although it's been a while since I last published a mission), so I thought I wasn't off topic.
  • I have a mission that is somewhere near 40% complete and wanted to check the map transitions. I'm having an epic fail with that. The mission starts in sector space but instead of saying "go to X", it is showing the objective of the first custom map. When I reach the transition point, the right dialogue comes up... but I'm…
  • Thanks for coming back to me. During the evening before I got a response, I decided to opt for "spatial charges here, there and there." on invisible objects. Explosion and disappearing objects work really well, but I do need to add in a component for the charge once it is placed. Have to check if there's a suitable object.…
  • One thing I did in an episode I wrote, was have a situation in the third act where you have been potentially betrayed by a character and you have to decide what to do with them... whether or not to trust them. In the fourth act, you warp in and a dialogue box comes up and asks you what your choice was (this relies on the…
  • Yes, I misunderstood the quote. I thought she was speaking from an instability in the experiment point of view, rather than the principled one. Good on her.
  • I thought the whole point of it being in Ceti Alpha was because the planet they thought they were using fit the criteria (barren on star charts and presumably in the Goldilocks zone... which given that Khan's planet was also in the Goldilocks zone, to me suggests that Ceti alpha V & VI were in a somewhat solar synchronous…
  • I could see it working as part of a larger project... with other advances in technology (namely the ability to move planets into Goldilocks zones... (something Neil deGrasse Tyson thinks might be possible if enough energy could be found)). I think realistically to move a planet, getting a whole fleet of starships probably…
  • Didn't someone create a Foundry mission with a system full of the giant cream rolls of death? Like they were spawning grounds?
  • Actually that's exactly how I used to play the space phase of Spore. Terraform bombing the TRIBBLE out of the Grox (who were in essence the Borg with the Tholian weakness of not being able to survive on a liveable planet). Essentially the Prime Directive wouldn't allow it if there was life there... but technically the…
  • I just noticed something about project Genesis which is quite a nifty reference. The Regula planetoid caves were stage 2 of project Genesis. That means that technically speaking, the deployment of the actual device onto a planet (or in practice, forming a planet from nebula material), must have been stage 3 of the project.…
  • I don't think it was just to do with animal matter. Remember the only complex animal matter that interfered with the development of the planet were Spock's corpse (and all associated microscopic lifeforms attached to him), and the microbes that had coated the torpedo. Whatever was happening was also affecting the planet on…
  • Was I the only person who upon seeing the thread title, immediately thought of breakfast cereal?. :)
  • Perhaps a compromise is more realistic (like they did with Worf). Have him voicing missions and content for all factions... but have bonus material relevant only to the Klingon side.
  • For me it is at best as canon as the Kelvin Timeline. Should anything onscreen take place in the Prime universe at a time equivalent to STO, it can be argued that anything in books or gameplay occurs in a timeline parallel to the Prime universe. So for me it lies somewhere between proper canon and "turtle canon".
  • It should be noted that the Khitomer liberated Borg is fresh out of the alcove... so he's still got all his bits attached and can't be customised.
  • There's also the Romulan liberated borg in the lobi store, so although it's a slightly different flavour in terms of career and some traits, you can technically have two liberated borg crew (technically three if you have access to the one from the early Borg missions and technically four if you have a Captain who is…
  • I propose a Star Trek Online Council of Nicea to resolve these issues. ;)
  • Except the origin of the name in canon comes from the Starfleet charter legislation, which kind of makes it fall apart.
  • I've heard some theorise that the 31 comes from 31st Century, and that Daniels has something to do with them, infiltrating the past to ensure that his timeline unfolds the way it has. One thing that intrigues me about that, which oddly ties in with STO, is that during the Xindi crisis, Daniels urges Archer to let Reed risk…
  • I think it had several roots. Obviously the thing everyone looks back to as a point of reference is Stephen King's IT. However I think that there's a more recent influence. There was a viral video of a man dressed as a clown performing horror pranks on the general public in isolated spots, late at night (walking down the…
  • We're not in disagreement. I wasn't in any way saying that showing the damage will discourage the behaviour, I was saying that having a visual way to demonstrate your injuries will actually encourage people to say "Hey look at me and all my cool injuries... I'm hardcore!"
  • Or alternatively they could release more PVE queues that have missions with overlapping marks so that people chasing after different marks aren't spread out. EG Voth vs Vaaudwar PVE would reward Dyson & Delta marks.
