We all have different tastes, and Star Trek's starship "designs" are more fantastical than practical. These are good things. As for me, I prefer the more fantastical ships like Enterprise-J, and dislike the more practical ones like the Defiant-class.

Idea: As an alternaive to mirror ships, create instead an item that, when used, permits a ship to be renamed with an ISS/ARW/AKS prefix. A type of token that functions as a captain rename token. The token would be consumed on use. Call the item something like "Terran Prefix Code" or "Mirror Universe Computer Core"
