Most hated ship? Defiant-class Seriously, what the hell is going on with that ship? It resembles nothing; not the classic Starfleet cruiser, not a Quasi-Star-Wars destroyer, it neither has nor has not wings, it's a "warship" with an even MORE conspicuous bridge, it doesn't even have that rugged attack chopper look. ...…
We all have different tastes, and Star Trek's starship "designs" are more fantastical than practical. These are good things. As for me, I prefer the more fantastical ships like Enterprise-J, and dislike the more practical ones like the Defiant-class.
With the recent dev blog "Aftershocks" comes the expectation for more Mirror Universe content, and another opportunity for Cryptic to implement this request.
CBS has ordered the persecution of the Constitution-class for years. What takes me is they have the gaul to use its model in all of the advertisements -- for a $130 Expansion -- that is itself an entire timeline/storyarc centered around the Constitution-class ship. Every TOS ship is built from the Constitution's look and…

Also -- We see three other TOS Era starship classes in the third screenshot here: These look to be an inverted Miranda-type, an Akula-Type, and a ToS-Niagra/Kelvin-type http://massivelyop.com/2016/05/05/star-trek-online-announces-its-third-expansion-agents-of-yesterday/
I truly wish this to be the case. (I had the same thought on my own also.) If there remains no endgame Constitution for an expansion that is set in the very era of the Constitution... then it's just false advertising. Though I am unwilling to get my hopes up. The (arbitrary) prohibition against the Constitution class came…
I'm hoping it comes about the same way the Dauntless-class did, as a last minute annex to the pack? Or, perhaps in the same way as the Pathfinder-class, as a post-expansion ship? Or, perhaps in the same way as the Resolute-class... Then again, I'm not getting my hopes up. CBS and Cryptic have foolishly enforced this…
Indeed. From the teaser, to the new trailer, to the popup advertissiment in Arc, avery single add for this expansion had a Constitution-class ship flying around. If after all of that there's no endgame Constitution-class... epic lameness. Cryptic has pulled-off nearly every possible wackey-trek-fantasy you can think of. An…
Did you read point #4? I'm talking about building new ships like old, not old ships like new. Your point is not sound. You are saying that there is no need for MIrandas, given newer designs. Need for a class of ship is not what drives them to exist in STO. If the only ships that were to exist were the ones starfleet…
Regarding the loss of lore due to the Non-Canon Ships: I've always been against the idea of cross-faction ships. There should be zero cross faction ships. Instead, all ships that are "cross-faction" should be their own, neutral faction. That would then make sense: all of our non-faction ships can continue to fly around,…
Yes. There is no sound argument why a T6 Miranda is not possible. Star Ships are not bound by the same limitation of modern naval ships, and the Star Fleet is not bound by the same limitations as a modern navy. 1. Age - A Miranda cannot be too old for endgame [T5/T6] when there are older ships already working for endgame.…
With the new blog about the Terran Reputation pathway, it's becomming clear that this will be the most attention the Terran Empire has received so far. This is the best time for the I.S.S. Prefix to roll out with the rest of it. We've got the uniforms, dark ship skins, a shotgun, a goatee, and everything else to have a…
Idea: As an alternaive to mirror ships, create instead an item that, when used, permits a ship to be renamed with an ISS/ARW/AKS prefix. A type of token that functions as a captain rename token. The token would be consumed on use. Call the item something like "Terran Prefix Code" or "Mirror Universe Computer Core"
