"I.S.S." prefix in C-Store

Hello, Devs!

STO has been a blast to be part of since the very beginning; thanks for an awesome game! There is one Customization option that I have been patiently hoping for forever:

I.S.S. Prefix options for Federation Ships from the c-store, just like the NX registry prefix. Perhaps also A.K.S. and A.R.W. prefixes for the Klingon and Romulan factions, respectively.

The C-Store option is far superior than coming up with an armada of mirror versions of Federation ships, which have some "alternate" characteristic. The few Tier-5 Mirror ships had those options, though those vessels do not upgrade and only represent a few ship classes. Combined with the Mirror Universe costumes for captains and starships, a C-Store option for the "I.S.S." prefix would essentially add an entire new pseudo-faction to the game.

The C-Store purchase might be for all ships on an account, or simply per ship rename.

    If I may add to this request: Have it unlock the Mirror material for all appropriate ships and craft, along with the registry. The Mirror Universe varieties of ship seem to have been pulled out of overall circulation.

    (Also is it just me or has the NX prefix vanished from the C-Store, as well?)


    EDIT: I just noticed that I just repeated what the OP said. Blah. Still, skin + prefix.

    I fully agree,
    I would love to see a "Mirror Pack" in the C-Store. :) With maybe the Kirk mirror vest aswell?

    The NX prefx has been moved to the legacy section of the c-store. I would also love to have the Mirror Universe skins!

    A c-store "I.S.S." prefix option is a must, and all of the elements are already there for it to work. The I.S.S. prefixes already exist for all federation ships, though we only see them on the hulls of NPC's. The ability to annex additional prefix options to a starship has already been implemented several times in the game, the best example being the Romulan Warbirds. A players' warbird can potentially carry the prefixes: "R.R.W." "I.R.W." "A.R.W." "I.K.S." and "U.S.S.", the latter two depending on your allegiance. That means a Romulan player with all options unlocked can choose from four prefix options for their warbird. The c-store has already been used for purchasing an additional prefix option; referring to the "NX" registry option.

    Mirror Universe prefixes for all ships [and I'm really talking about of Fleet Ships] would be an excellent expansion to the game, and would be the crowning touch on a player's Mirror universe theme, when combined with the c-store uniforms, special titles, and perhaps even a Terran-themed fleetname... [shameless pulg :D ]

    I recall this briefly comming up during one of the livestream events, a replay of one of the old Romulan Missions, I believe. Was there ever any follow-up to that?

    I can absolutely back this, if only so more ships can be given the mirror skin in the Foundry. :D

    Idea:

    As an alternaive to mirror ships, create instead an item that, when used, permits a ship to be renamed with an ISS/ARW/AKS prefix. A type of token that functions as a captain rename token. The token would be consumed on use. Call the item something like "Terran Prefix Code" or "Mirror Universe Computer Core"

    Future mirror universe content makes me hopeful that this will be implemented.

    Totally agree on that. I want mirror skin for the command cruisers! They used to sell ship skins in the distant past, so now with the mirror universe themed expansion we may get something. Long live the Terran Empire!

    With the new blog about the Terran Reputation pathway, it's becomming clear that this will be the most attention the Terran Empire has received so far. This is the best time for the I.S.S. Prefix to roll out with the rest of it.

    We've got the uniforms, dark ship skins, a shotgun, a goatee, and everything else to have a truly Terran captain, except a mirror-universe prefix for our shiny fleet ships. Imperial Star Ship prexes would truly make the "mini-faction" complete. The best case would be as an unlockable thing, usable per starship on any ship. Like a Tier-V rep project: "Ship Rename Token" or "Terran Imperial Prefix Code"

    Come on Cryptic, be a miracle worker! ISS starship prefixes for all!

    Agreed...Ive wanted this since I joined, and would pay well for it...so get on it already...shouldnt be that hard to add, and looks more monees!!!!!
