Got it already, but still cool for those that don't. Anyone that has been playing for a few years will always get less out of these giveaways, maybe they could offer a choice of the giveaway item or a few universal upgrades or maybe some dil. This way those that want the item will be happy and so will those that don't.

Or else try upgrading, I hear that Yoyotech's XDNA Aurum 24K can run STO with max settings and very few problems. \o/. [Serious] Not sure if you are on a laptop or PC, but definitely worth physically cleaning graphics card, I'm running a GT630, which used to run at 100-105C!!! when trying to run STO on even half graphics…

Psshhh, Elite dangerous going FTP might make a dent, but I don't think EVE's model would draw a lot of STO players. Different mindset, hence the dearth of dedicated PVP/PVPers here. P.S. Dearth is not a typo, look it up.

Getting this continuously on all toons, thought I had PEBCAK issues, swapped keyboard, tried controller nothing helped. Was mainly in shooter mode but did occur occasionally in RPG mode

Meh, quit DCUO after Daybreak took over, they managed to turn the reasonably grindy [sic] parts of the game into a time gated non event, good luck to him joining a half sunk ship. Rats got out of there long ago...

Only thought that I have is that quads should be available in other weapons types. I'd love to strap quads of different flavours onto my Fleet T6 tac escort, I own all the other tac escorts but just don't roll with phasers. Maybe a crafting project that opens up if you own the whole set that enables you to craft quads in…

Beat me to it, me and a few friends have been booting this idea around for a while. Even written down a few ideas; Might just pitch them at Jared. Strangely enough I'm not really a Monster/Vampire/Ghost movie/series fan, but friend showed me this a couple of years ago and the humour just slayed me.
