Gonna get interesting. I know this topic is useless for the game itself, it always bothered me. And actually we see no Space Gateway in game that was not connected to an other Gateway. I simply miss the logic and the technical deep dive in the lore.

Thats a good idea! If this issue is addressed in the future, I hope Cryptic will do it in a similar logical way.

For me, I had more fun in nuking the enemy with Tric Mines. If 1 cirts, then every crits. This makes up to 200000 or more damage. :-) Blowing up a Gate with active Generators isnt possible anymore though! Still, I think compared to newer Torpedoes and Quantum Torps, that the Tricobalt is a bit sub par!

For me I do use Quantum Torpedoes primary. I only used Tricobalts before they nerved them to death. Just tried them a few days ago. It is sad. I am OK with the current damage output as long as the CD would be at least 50% lower and the traveling speed at least 20% - 33% faster. I cant remember that those Torps were THAT…

Avtually there were some Vulcan Ships mentioned in DS9 that explore the Gamma Quadrant! I cant believe that they are pure science vessels. Though more member states ships and a revamp of the Galaxy-X would be nice! :-) Cruisers somehow lack a special ability in this Escrot and Carrier dominated game!

I totally agree! Please Cryptic bring back the old ESD Model as TF Omega Space Station. TBH Gamma Orionis Sector is pretty useless right now in endgame. Due the fact that Interplay and CBS got "problems" with each other - Interplay has taken legal actions against CBS, I am sure that we do not see those Ships (Ulysses and Yamato) in STO.
