You know this was originally done in TNG on the Ent-D, right? I mean, it isn't like they mounted an emitter array directly to the warp core. ;) As for the new ships, I don't spend on Fed or Klink ships, and I always hated the Scimitar, so I don't see myself touching these.

Simple solution for me has been, if someone comes up behind me while I am waiting to start and I think they might try to 'cut in' ahead of me, I wait for about a second after the race prompt appears. If they jump in ahead of me their hand will go up, and I then hit 'F' and *they* get to fail and go back to the NPC to reset…

I'm down with chip and Kodak. If you want a mastery for your fleet T5, buy the Z-store version and grind out the mastery. The only thing you don't have is the Command/Intel/Pilot seats, which frankly I've never thought were earth-shattering.

Perhaps the carrier bays/flight deck portion plugs into the Kara in place of the lower hull, replacing the Ha'feh portion. That has some interesting possibilities.

Not *that* large. I think the special 'upgraded' epohhs like "Elder Candystriper with Bow" are 200 marks, and the non-special Elder epohhs are 100. Might be 250 and 125, I forget.

It occurs to me that originally, BFaW damage output was limited by weapons power drain. Now, with the high-DPS players overcapping their power by insane amounts, that limit is no longer effective. Not sure about the poster who said they *jog* and win without any aids. But I did manage to win while only jogging a few days ago with just the frost boots and a plasma repeater with the [RUN] mod. With the frost boots you still have to slide a bit but much more control than sprinting. Worth trying for those having trouble…

I've read that "tactic" in a couple of other threads. I have very rarely lined up to race and not gotten an NPC opponent for some reason, tho I've never intentionally failed the race. YMMV, not responsible for giant Monty Python-like feet that may or may not come out of the sky and squish you. ;)

For those who lack the patience to fail a few times while learning how to run on ice, I think you can just fail a few times in a row (easily accomplished by leaving the track) and then it'll let you run by yourself. Then you can take a leisurely, stress-free stroll around the course to get your daily shiny.

I will say this, I've said many times that letting Superior Rom Operative stack was a mistake. I think you should be able to have one (1) Superior, one (1) Romulan Operative, one (1) Basic Rom Operative and the Captain version as the maximum. Or maybe they should just hardcap CritH and be done with it. ;)

In the main discussion thread for the new carrier, Trendy did say several times she is working to try and address this. I think that we (and KDF too) will get some kind of T6 Science option sometime relatively soon, and that we'll get a full carrier eventually.
