  • Krystal: Undine Planet Killers look like giant Meatballs hoenstly. Not much else to describe them as. As for J'mpok and Martok, No one knew Martok was still alive until General Kurn found him in the Briar Patch and planned a jailbreak. And as to why J'mpok wasn't taken out... Martok expressed no interest in reclaiming the…
  • Its also going to be Day One of the Winter Event today.
  • It may not feel like its random, but it actually is. Its not like you spin a roulette wheel and it sends you on whatever it lands on. In a way the Random button queues you up for everything, and whichever one fills up first is the one you go on. Which does mean that if certain TFOs are more popular at the time they will be…
  • No. Its always been a thing, specifically tied to difficulty setting. On Normal you don't take any damage debuffs on either space or ground. Advanced you start taking damage debuffs on death. However its easy to take care of as long as you have components and regenerators. And you can use them right out of your bank even…
  • NECROMANCY! *Casts Holy Photon Torpedo* Be sure not to post in anything over 30 days old.
  • Krystal: The Undine have their own kind of Planet Killer. Not the big neutronium ice cream cone. As for Martok... He WAS the Chancellor, before losing a duel and supposedly dying at J'mpok's hands. Turns out Martok only barely survived, and was taken to a planet in the Briar Patch, where the metaphasic radiation actually…
  • The 10th Anniversary bundle isn't retired. It pops up during major sales. Most likely will come back for the Christmas Sale. Out of all the Legendary bundles, the 10th Anniversary one is a bit of an oddball with it popping in and out of the C-Store. I can't check its current status myself in game as I already have it.
  • Unfortunately the gameplay for STO is a bit more like Star Trek Legacy, and dear god flying a Borg ship in that game was disorienting.
  • Yea if they are the disruptor rifles... we don't have access to those particular weapons yet.
  • Do you have a screenshot?
  • Its probably too big. While we do have ships like the Universe class and the Borg Juggernaut, they're size tends to be more... horizontal. The Iaidon... is TALL. Which would probably cause HAVOC with being able to SEE what you're shooting at. Even zoomed out all the way you'd probably have a face full of your own ship's…
  • Actually... yes. I do have some stories posted that people liked. :D And one of them IS a Star Trek story. And my current claim to fame is, even after all these years, I STILL have the ONLY Star Fox/Wing Commander crossover on this sight I have my stuff posted on. It was only my second story so I admit its probably pretty…
  • Krystal: *looks at her PADD for a moment* We were at war with them until the Undine tried to attack Qo'noS. Captain Shon almost sacrificed himself to destroy a planet killer. After that we had a bit of an Armistice, but with the formation of the Khitomer Alliance, things got a LOT better. Most of the 24th Century though…
  • Exactly. To the average person it probably looks easy. See something broken, well it must be that thing. But... we are not only talking lines of code, we're talking STO Spagetti code. To give an idea of how complicated it can be... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T4kBRC2co7Y Sattler: How many lines of Code are there?…
  • The outfits are still in the Promotions tab. You get a box of boxes. We mods were talking about that as well. With luck that will also help pass it up the chain. In the meantime I'm keeping the Ferengi outfits in the bank on my KDF characters.
  • Borg ships don't have engine trails. The Defender does. Besides the Devs have said we're not likely to get the other Borg ships, and the community pretty much universally agrees that things like that are a sign of the Endtimes (even if it wouldn't be). The Juggernaut got a pass because its Asymetric and was featured big…
  • Yes it was. But we're talking about a different artifact. One that originates from a novel. Ever hear about the TNG novel The Devil's Heart? Most likely the Anniversary Episode.
  • Lets not start going down rabbit holes. Some bugs have a higher priority than others. Not only that, sometimes a bug is hard to track down. It took them a year to track down what I call the Season 7 Accolade Bug. Switching from random drops to the Rep System kinda mucked up the Accolade Armor unlock for some characters…
  • The Borg ships we have in game have defined fronts so players know which way they're facing. The Sphere and Diamond do not.
  • I know that thing!
  • I use that piece for my Hazard Suit mockups for the TED.
  • I'm not discounting a new Avenger variant whatsoever. I'm just discounting the additional console to the set, per past additions to ship lines after legendary ship releases. Also there comes a point where you just naturally have to stop adding to existing sets before they become extremely bloated 3-4 seems to be where they…
  • Krystal: Borg, access to the Gamma and Delta Quadrants, Iconians, the current issue with the Hur'q, the difference between the Romulan Star Empire and Romulan Republic... what else...
  • Honestly I don't know. Also hullweave could mean anything. I remember in KoTOR that they mention that the Vibroblades have a Cortosis Weave in the blade, meaning they can stand up against Lightsabers, allowing non force users to fight in melee against force users. So it could be an armor console of some sort. But until…
  • Krystal: *picks chocolate cake slices*
  • While this is a necro... think I'll let this one go for the time being. The Typhoon is still a relatively new ship so why not have some discussion again?
  • Both the Aurora and Quasar were revamped to higher quality models rather than their Launch era models. The Aurora was based on TMP era, while the Quasar took inspiration from many of the ships seein in Star Trek Picard. You can still kitbash them, and the Rhode Island should still be avilable if you have the Rhode Island…
  • Well... the Shangri-La class, which the Connie-III is based on, doesn't have that problem as I believe the Torpedo Launcher was built into the front of the Saucer. When it was revamped for the Connie-III, someone must have decided to move the launcher to the neck to add another design element from the Connie line (refit's…
  • Krystal: Reina would probably throw a fit that I got buried by paperwork... again. *chuckles*
  • Yes there is a JH Vet Destroyer with a Polaron Lotus. However I don't see them revamping the Vet Destroyers to have specialist seating outside what they already have, which is a Lt. Cmdr Engie/Command.
