Technically speaking content already scales based on player level. That's why when you go back to replay the first mission all enemies match your level. Far as I know the only arc that has problems with level scaling is the unique TOS arc for TOS Captains. In my experience, though it has been a while since I tried, space…
As mentioned in that big Livestream last month. https://www.arcgames.com/en/forums/startrekonline#/discussion/1273279/ten-forward-weekly-3-19-2024-all-fans-all-hands/p1 This month we're looking at a new ship from Star Trek Beyond. Next month will be the new Dysons.
Not to mention a PITA to moderate. I've seen how fast Deep Rock Galactic's channels can go. Getting a decent conversation can be difficult even if it is in real time. Having a Discord server alongside the forums might be nice, but not as a wholesale replacement.
If you get lucky with the Infinity Lockbox, you can choose the TOS Dreadnought Starships (T6) pack, then choose the Romulan one. They do pop up on the Exchange as well every once in a while, however current prices are rather... high. Also be aware that unlike the Mudd Pack version it is only a single ship and not an…
They didn't retire it, they just never ran the shuttle event again. No real explanation that I recall. I could try asking Kael if there are any plans to revive it. Honestly it was probably the only 20 man that reliably popped and its just so fun.
Oh I got shenanigans with some of my small craft. Slap a Point Defense console on a shuttle the thing becomes a deleting machine! Operation Gamma becomes so easy with Point Defense. Getting swarmed? Point Defense! No more swarm. :D I might be able to turn my shuttle into a Scatter Pack with the Torpedo Point Defense,…
Well... my theory is either the Ent-A or we're getting the first playable Squadron in the form of the Swarm Ship. When they released the first Squadron pet they said they were interested in trying to make a playable squadron someday. Honestly I think it would be better to go with the Ent-A, and maybe make her a Miracle…
I think I can address some of these, at least from a fellow player perspective. Already have this in a way as all BOff abilities are also available as Kit Module abilities. The only abilities they don't have access too are really the Universal Kit Modules. So its kinda redundant? Not sure if they'd be able to use that…
I feel that pain. I got a KDF Andorian BOff who can wear KDF uniforms, but I have to fudge it with my Fed Orion BOffs by using things like the Kelvin Survival Jacket.
^ This Hate to say it but bugs like this... it gets done when it gets done. The Dev Team is under no obligation to give running commentary on their bug fixing activities like progress as... it could be very simple or extremely complex. And with STO's code... we've seen them fix something, and something totally unrelated…
On that I agree, even if the base damage was different because of one simple fact. Ability to keep firing, thus doing damage. Even with the modifiers in place, there is one simple fact for a standard beam array. If you are not in its firing arc and it is not firing, it doesn't matter what its base damage or modified damage…
I know I've already weighed in on this from the perspective of a casual player, but I think we need to step back and take a breath as right now, at least to me, it feels like the two camps are not listening and going over the same points. Honestly I don't know why some are so dead set on saying "they are the same" on base…
