For me personally, I would love to see the author choose whether a species was friend or foe. Of course I'd love to see this in all three factions and don't expect it.

1. The star rating, I've found, has nothing to do with who will win the challenge. Many, many times the winner isn't the top rated or even in the top three. Mine is all done- except for polish now. Unfortunately not many will end up playing it since it's a Klingon level 31+ mission. I thought about making it any level but thought it would lose something that way.

I think it would be cool if you could look up main characters from STO like Admiral Quinn, J'mpok, Thot Trel and others. Make it like a real computer database.

You can test your mission but you should put a disclaimer into the title and mission detail. Not sure about having others test it though. Bran should answer that.
