When I was a kid, I had one of those silver-painted plastic Hot-Wheels Oberths. I have always hated the boat-looking part on the bottom, so I pried it off, and imagined it to be a variant of the original ship. When the new T6 Somerville Intel sci vessel was launched, I immediately saw it as the T6 version of the…
In this post I couldn't figure out how to post the actual photo; just the link. The next post is not an attempt at double entry. I just figured out how to post it correctly, and posted it there instead of just editing it into this post.
I definitely suggest going with OSS. It makes your ship *really* kick TRIBBLE. I do not use intelligence team, but I definitely *do* use intelligence fleet. Use it if you have it. OSS is amazing.
C. It's not a terrible ship. I do very much dislike the saucer being so long and pointy, and the starship trait is way too specific to be very useful, in my opinion. Might be great for somebody; just not for me. I just purchased the T6 Avenger, which is fun. I can't imagine the Resolute being *fun*. Would hope that the old…
I own both the Pathfinder and the Vesta. I love both, but my main is still the Vesta. The flexibility makes it better than the lower-level Intel abilities available to the Pathfinder. Though the Pathfinder is worth purchasing for the trait and is a really powerful, beam-only pure sci ship.
I should add that on my Vesta, I use mostly cannons (polaron and proton), a polaron omni beam, the neutronic torp and the gravimetric photon torp. With the boff seating, I have beam overload, scatter volley, rapid fire, and torpedo spread. Also grav well and tyken's rift. It kicks TRIBBLE and I don't fly any other ship…
I own both and enjoy both immensely. On the Pathfinder, I use all polaron beams, and have a heavy exotic and crowd control setup. It is no slouch. I removed the aero, but once I am able to upgrade to the fleet version, I'll probably add it back. I played only that for a few months. Then, just for fun, I ended up throwing…
I ha e tried to purchase zen multiple times over the last month, and tried various credit cards. None of it works. It keeps telling me that there is a.problem with the credit card, and something about clearing my cache, which I did, all to no avail. Way to go Cryptic, I guess you don't really want our money.
My brother has the same problem. He wrote them several emails, which were never replied to. I told him to tell them that he wants to log in to spend money, but cannot. *That* finally worked (proving that they don't give a TRIBBLE about us unless we're going to give them money). They finally sent a form, asking for all…
These are some of the best changes that I've read about since the release of DR. I am very pleased with this new direction, and hope that the queues starts filling up again. Thank you Cryptic.
I own all but the Dauntless, so I can't speak on that. I had the Vesta pack for a long time, bit didn't end up using it a whole lot. Then I bought the Scryer, which is neat, but not my favorite. What I do love about it is it's trait, which I just use on my other ships. Then the Pathfinder was the only ship that I flew for…
I actually decided to close my wallet a few weeks ago. I can't take this b.s. anymore. I will still play, because it's Star Trek, and I've invested plenty of RL funds into it, but no longer will I pay to be treated so poorly as a customer.
Even long after DR was released, I have pumped my fair share of money and time into this game. I've read so many posts that I thought were from people who were just being dramatic or just wanted to complain for the sake of complaining. That being said, I've been starting to agree with the complaints. Cryptic decided to…
The developers definitely have messed up priorities. I love my hangar pets, and they were not making my ships way more powerful; just more interesting. It seems like the devs hate it when we have too much fun or have something that works too well, and are trying everything that they can to suck the fun out of this game.…
I defeat the first wave of Vaadwaur attackers, and then it says to prepare for the incoming wave of reinforcements. Those never arrive. I've flown all around the map, but never find any enemies. Thus, I cannot complete the mission, and am stuck where I am in the storyline. What gives? Has anyone else run into this problem,…
I submitted a ticket, and I did get a response. It basically was an acknowledgement that they received my ticket and would get back to asap. It sat there for about a week (maybe two), then just disappeared. What the heck is the point of writing tickets of we're just going to be ignored? To pacify us into thinking that they…
