I'm trying to log into STO again , after years , and my account still exists , of course . However my old email isn't valid anymore so I tried to edit that bit .

Lo and behold : you get an error it's not possible to edit that ,redirecting you a non-existing support page of Arc ( in effect you get a 404 error, page not found ) .

Of course I'm not one to give up easily and write a support ticket , which isn't adressed either .
The twitter account of perfect world entertainment support has sent one tweet in its entire existence ,years ago ( meaning there's no way to contact support at all, apparently )

Anyone know what's up with support in the Arc-client thingy or website thereof ? Has it ceased to exist ?

My brother has the same problem. He wrote them several emails, which were never replied to. I told him to tell them that he wants to log in to spend money, but cannot. *That* finally worked (proving that they don't give a TRIBBLE about us unless we're going to give them money). They finally sent a form, asking for all sorts of complex information, that I don't know how to find. Their basic system for resetting your e-mail is completely broken, and I'm sure that they know it, but they just do not give a f*ck about those who play STO, unless money is involved. Try baiting them by writing to them that you want to spend some money. That is the only thing that will get their attention. How sad that it takes something like that just to get some god d*mn support from them.

Used to be a time when support was swift and really good .

Don't know if I'm going to bother with multiple emails etc.

Completely absent support usually means uninstall with me ( for any game or other software ) . What's really stupid is that

    * they use a one-time-code system to protect you

    * that one-time code relies entirely on email ( usually there's multiple ways to obtain such codes , in almost every other game or program )

    * there's no way to edit said email when the one you registered with originally is no longer valid .

Support dead? It can't be dead. For it to be declared dead, it had to exist at one point prior.

Go to arc, log in, file a ticket under support. (follow the links for STO, etc). 2 months ago I changed my email address for the same reason as you, took 2 hours for responses and to answer their questions to prove it was me.

Some hints, give them time to respond if it's a weekend for them. Be prepaired to answer some questions or have your game key ready. USE ARC to file the ticket, it's what they want you to do.

Since launch I've used support maybe 3 times and never had a problem, including once this year.

I did file ticket in support at Arc ( in fact you cannot do it any other way as the other page gives you a 404 error even though they send you there :) ...)
