Those that were bashing thinking that there was a sense of entitlement that was implied in the original post got the wrong idea. it was just a question, nothing more. I think that it's a great idea. Could the idea be expanded to work with BOFFs that aren't currently slotted? Ex: All of your bridge officer stations are currently slotted and you've got a few extra BOFFs that aren't doing anything. For arguements sake let's say you've got 3 (1 Tac, 1 Eng, 1 Sci). So when I first played STO (prior to season 6) I had 3toons, 2 fed and a klingon. Since comming back to STO, I consolidated as much EC, Dilithium, equipment, doffs and boffs as i could, scrapped the rest for EC and sent it all to a new Fed Tac toon. I've now got that toon to 50. So then the console becomes useless UNLESS it's paired with the same energy type. Hence, if you want what the Heavy Phaser Lance console can offer, you need to keep phasers on your vessel. correct?

Honestly, i did not know that. I just remembered play SFB as a kid and I posted while it was still fresh in my mind. Interesting. Renaming a race to circumvent liscensing issues between games makes sense.

I've recently started loggin in to the PVE queues to the various missions available. However, I don't believe that my skill level is good enough for running anything at Elite, yet. Still great suggestion and one I'll look into when I feel I'm good enough for Elite STFs. Thanks.
