wait your saying the only reason they gave 7 of 9 a role as a liberated borg is because she couldn't act it to begin with? ...she can act... maybe not on a paramount stage where she knows deep inside everything is a faaaaaaaakeeee!
few new beam/cannon specialties to take advantage of, equipping them the way subsystem targeting bonus works for nebula and voyager? had no idea subsystem targeting worked that way for sci, thought it was a passive!
your just regurgitating things I already know. I had a VERY good point btw. also, your taking this conversation out of context. back to those pretteh pretteh blues!
it's not the beam size that's the issue it's the ship size. make piloting the fighters and stuff viable for PvP maps where you don't want too many 'big' ships spamming abilities. would be afun PvP map!
if damage wasn't calculated in the thousands so the server can handle it.. and sci powers were changed for obvious reasons.. yes we could easily have our 500 ship battles
galaxy... barely 20 years old really Miranda only 30 or so.. one of gene's rules shoulda been no skipping around the timeline =P q was taking notes from the Fed's future he already is aware of, so it's plausible enough for a 3 pack.
first look at gal's stats I didn't see a problem. seemed like a perfect ship for an engie running beam overload 2 and mounting three torps forward. deal break for me on Gal is while it's separated my boarding party shuttles spawn from the stardrive. Excelsior lookin stylish glad I bought it instead. doesn't mean it wasn't…
Blasted some Scoodians rockin the old Talaxian/Talarian battleship? Very confused they were quite annoyed with me, but yeah, always wanted to try Juana those
eta-eridani, alpha-tranguili, heck I've even picked up the assignment as far as beta ursae sector block. not exactly sure which is the main one though...
Sto's interpretation of the power difference between a mk 1 and mk 12 phaser is laughable at best. I'd imagine those old blue beams could still do quite a bit of damage. It's a directed beam of energy.. judging by the Power of Enterprise D's phaser putting craters in that planet, I'd say canon is wrong in how they…
If the Enterprise D was modular it would have expansion joints of some kind that would be very obvious to see, and an un-mistakable feature of the ship. Truth is she can only separate into two pieces quickly, save for the nacelles. A feature that often hindered filming as much as it boosted it. Considering it was this…
It all comes down to Gene's initial simple failing in demonizing Klingons and their culture for the benefit of Enterprise and her crew. Look at the can of worms it opened up, entirely acceptable in the late 60's.. not so much today. Why? It's obviously racist, and should be left with the dinosaurs, like it HAS been. Today…
evasive towards target when target EptE and is facing you. then release your red plasma torpedo. should almost quadruple the standard speed. especially if the target is coming right at you quickly. heck probably pick a few in PvP off who are at full impulse speeds if you get lucky...
heck is battle group omega about anyway? something before my time on STO? just an empty bit of space to visit with some inactive npc's and a few guys parkin their ships for the night. got on about season 6 or so..
I want to see cryptics quarterly earnings report for each and every game they have out right now. I know Star Trek online has got to be one of their top priorities. Things like Gal X, dual beams on Gal and Excelsior, no dual beams for Enterprise 1701, sector space being kinda lame, and yet all the time to make sure the…
support all the way, first, scrap ALL deflector sci powers entirely edit: science now only does science stuff: like taking a trip to engineering to hand the astrometrics report to laforge.
they don't even work well for leveling up, they just plain don't do much but look blue. see Enterprise 1701 is another victim of not splitting up the eras in the separate times. just like CV Enterprise was scrapped at the end of world war two. I see no problem with blue nanite phasers, maybe just make it a different sound?
In combat you say? Yeah crew doesn't help anything. It's especially noticeable in the lower tiers. There has to be additional bonuses for larger crews to offset the crew 'strength' mentality towards the crew meter. Smaller ships regain full crew strength sooner yes, but should also suffer from lack of additional crew in…
