Does your fleet use extend shields? I wasn't making a personal attack, but I have seen fleets use it in the past. I'm sorry, but it seems to me that a team that revolves on every member having at least one instance of extend is indeed 'one-dimensional'. the detonator was, shockwave still legal, but when you're allowed to have 2 copies and > continuously < extend as opposed to have a cooldown and a global, why bother?

What about broken boff abilities. What's the counter against extend shields? 4 people on a team with it and it can be used full time. Well, there WERE counters against but apparently they're too OP and so get banned. Who do I need to sleep with in order to get stuff that I don't like banned from tournament play? I'm not…

My main character is Klingon. I don't care about 3 borg + maco. The borg set, including console, is the only set that you can mix with other sets and get two bonuses. Why not leave it that way?

What I'm saying is that, however unlikely, the possibility is there to corrupt the development system. Devs should be above being members of player fleets and developing emotions for or against any players.

Doesn't matter. Most of the PvP community knows there are fleets with devs. Regardless of if I'm correct in my identification of a braggart, there ARE player fleets that have devs....and there shouldn't be.

The devs do test powers and abilities. They go to Kerrat on their Federation carebear and then suggest removing pvp from the game after they get beat with the whumpin' stick. The only way to really balance everything is to adopt standard console/boff layouts and then make different skins for the standard ships that result.…
