These days it seems like many ship type don't even give you any choices. More customisation would be good. Even better IMHO would be a way of exploring how ships you don't own could be customised. I know you see Borg cubes in game, but it'd be cool to see how they could look when you're not shooting at them and vice versa.

Might I suggest you post the basics of your current build here? :) If you're running with low level weapons (green MK XII's etc) that might be your problem. The shows ethics differ to earlier series, and then there's the Klingons. Oh and the political element too come to think of it. Odds are there's other issues but that'd require paying attention to it. Much simpler to try to act as if it doesn't exist.

How do you manage 20,000 dps? With Epic\VR Mk XIV weapons and consoles my status panel states I'm only: 3,000 dps (6x ~500) when onplanet <7,000 (6x <1,260) when in orbit ~8,000 (6x <1,400) when in the match briefing stage. Having a fleet commander who is largely absent is survivable if other senior members are active. With the equipment cap being raised from 14 to 15 it looks like all the old max upgraded equipment now isn't. I'm not sure just how big of a difference it makes at present.

191-227 Marks per round? Do you have some sort of Mark bonus on? I'm pretty sure I only get 161 or so, and that's with completing the mission in the allotted time and having all 5 players escape.
