I hope the patch does fix this, as I'm stuck at the same point. Tried relogging, restarting mission, tried jumping on both sides of the passage... just keep dying, so logged a bug report on it.

Ahhh! Thanx. So they are upgradeable via the 'upgrade' system rather than automatically upgrading. How high will this upgrade go? XII to match what it would be if gotten by a L60 toon? Yes - I have installed the game via Steam, not ARC or a CD. So I click the "play" button from steam (well, actually I use a desktop shortcut) which brings up the STO launcher... where I log in with my PW account and click "Engage" to start the game - this I believe iirc is the original launcher used prior to PW taking it…
