emzi, I agree with you on that point... tested it by copying that to a text file and saving it as a .csv and then opening in Excel... However, how does the fleet roster export fields like the member comments or MOTD fields... with or without quotes. If it's without as I am suspecting from the comments made, it will…
that's working as expected in excel (or other spreadsheet programs) when reading in a comma separated file. when ever it reads a comma, it put the following information in a new column. as for the command "issue" of "/ExportGuildMemberList <string>" vs "<filename>"... the file name is a "string" in a command format.
is there any way to have the "discussion" link only show the STO forum? so far I'm not impressed with this forum and the lack of abilities in the forum
depending on your faction, I know the KDF side has a daily mission giver in the first city near the tailor and between the bar... she gives three missions to go run... each is a "go defeat three groups of..." which sends you to near by nebulas. they give out like 2K dil each there are others similar missions, but they've…
as mentioned, you'll still be able to do all the missions and get all the rewards... the one exception to all of it (I believe) is that you'll loose the Delta Recruit Trait that gives a little extra XP and Dil on when you "Crush your enemies. See them driven before you. Hear the lamentations of their women.".... er...…
Same here... I'm pretty sure I've seen two different also. A shield drone that provides extra shielding for them (and is a lock box drop) and another that's like the seeker drone engineers can deploy
Well, they had them in the tv shows... so we can have 'em right... but along with what you said, there was an episode of Enterprise, I think, where the team beamed down to a rouge planet (no natural light from a sun) and they had a monocule system that was like a modern night scope... having something like that to put on…
a couple of places come to mind... if you're a veteran (?or is it lifetimer?) you can claim as many as you want on your home base (ESD/Klingon academy/rom command center)... you could go to dilithium mine and buy one there... if you've got the nukara reputation started, I believe that store has suit available... as for…
OH I don't know, I think there's all kinds of things... - pearls - sea shells - coconuts - palm fronds - monkey toes - monkey tails - parrot feathers - bikini strings - sand pails - sand shovels I like the ides of holosuite incriminating evidence, but I'd make it more like "Turns out someone saw you duck into that…
had a crash issue at the tailor with my KDF - Klingon character (pre-DR), at First City tailor while making changes to my characters outfit. Tried twice and then quit playing for the night. Next day went to New Romulous and DR KDF/Rom character was able to use the Tailor. will need to try again with my KDF/Klingon again.
completely agree... I'll grind long enough to get the required number of whatchamacallits to get what ever it is we might get... after that, no need to be there anymore... I'll go grind my rich dil claims on each character again...
WHY! At a minimum I want the Corvette for may alts, I like that ship! The Lux crusier is unique, and I'd like to get it too at least on one character. Now I guess I'll never get it or the console. BravoSierra... I do like the idea of the exchange of pearls for points and things. I DO not care for he emotes... I foresee…
If the homeworlds were spruced up a bit and some life added to them, more things could be done like a home for the character. however, some could say the ship is your home... but, an idea occurs to me that if player homes were created, it would be a nice place to hang all those trophies and ship models and some of the…
Now, I wouldn't mind seeing updates to the interiors, I don't really see a need for them. If the interiors were used for more than decorations, then sure, but they're nothing more than a place to wander around aimlessly. If there were specific DOFF missions or other mission inside the ships, then maybe a revamp would be…
I'd say the most common reason is that a search engine brought them to the forum and an old thread because that thread had something in it they were looking for. Then, instead of saving the link to the thread and starting a new... they just replied to the old thread... since it's not locked to prevent that... But in any…
I've seen that when in the DOFF assignment window and if you select department heads and a department, realize you need something and open the replicator, the DOFF window resorts back to the current map list. Same if you're at a Nebula or other special doff mission window and open the replicator.
did similar with a 360 arc beam w/FAW skill, a torp w/torp spread skill, and one of those beam floating turret devices and I just kind of kept flying in tight circles. then later on with the swarmers.. I ran out of the cave, dropped a turret went FAW and Torp spread and backed into the cave again nearly decimated the…
I wouldn't mind seeing updates done to existing spaces like DS9 or the First City... and others. I also wouldn't mind finding small colonies to "trade" with instead of having to call the trade ships or use the replicator or have to run half way across a map to a starbase to sell stuff. Along that line, to make these…
yeah, been an ongoing bug. from what I can tell, when you click the blinking mail icon, mail opens up and you "read" the first email in the list. It apparently doesn't register that you've read it until you've moved to another email and if you delete it, STO still thinks there's an un-read email. To "fix" it, I've usually…
perhaps, it's there for the summer event and will go away... to allow those without the diplomacy (wait, does that even work any more?) to get to Risa?
