  Not a bug, it can cause a number of things to spawn and in most cases they will try to kill you.
  Devidians, tos klingons (when feds use it), tos feds (when klingons use it) and the worst of all, a bunch of tribbles.

  My Fed once used it and got a TOS Fed captain when doing the Romulan featured episodes. I hadn't had it long at the time and didn't realise it spawned something. After the fight, I suddenly noticed this random TOS captain just stood there with her phaser rifle. It didn't half confuse me.
  
  Last night my Gorn deployed his on the roof of the Nimbus III bar. But because he was on the edge, it caused it to start raining tribbles on people coming out the bar. Had a fun game of kick the tribble after that.
  
  
  I think Dividians only spawn when you use the cane as well, don't they? There's soemthing special about the cane and this.
  
  
  But yeah, the swordmaster isn't a bug. It randomly pulls through someone from time.

  huh, I've never seen it bring in anything... now I'm going to have to go put it on a boff and see what springs forth
