I would also suggest to be careful you know what the mission is. On the Klingon side there is a mission where you execute the crew member and they are gone forever. Like and idiot I didn't understand that and executed a DOFF I would never have gotten rid of. Live and learn I guess.
My two cents. 1. Drops and disconnects are not experienced by everyone. I almost never get one and I've been silver and gold. Intermittent problems are really hard to fix. And as everyone else said they are usually outside Cryptic's control (your box, your ISP, your drivers, dust in the machine, etc...) 2. Class action…
I appreciate the responses. I have a chained done up to 7 steps (it's the one about the Catians). But I have never found the 8th step and don't know how to find it. It's been at least 2 months since I did the 7th. How would I find it? Thanks again.
Shouldn't it be 5% bleedthrough + 40% x 0.95 = 43% of damage?? This assumes you get 40% of what is left after the bleedthrough. I have no date for this, but it seems more logical to me. Does anyone know?
I think this is a good idea but how would you put it into practice? Cryptic would have to hire people to review records to determine if someone was a repeat offender. You couldn't go by multiple reports because that could be abused too. I like the thought but I'm wondering how you would actually implement it.
I have done tons of peanut surveys and I've earned close to 5000 zen in the last 4 months. I would never do any of the offers that request personal information. In general the surveys never ask for personal information and when one does (and it's quite rare) I just skip it. The surveys fall into three categories. First…
I think I speak for everyone when I say you should not think you speak for everyone, neither should you speak that you think for everyone, neither should you speak if you do not think. Thus I speak, I think.
This an issue in every game I've ever played. I always imagine some 13 year old kid going "Oh look that ship looks cool, maybe I can start a fleet with him." I have no basis for that assumption but it always comes to mind. I won't accept a blind invite. I would rather get to know a fleet before I join and if they really…
Yes. Something is dead. It took forever to log in, got several timeouts. Once I've gotten in I've gotten kicked off after less than a minute. Definitely something wrong.
Here's my summary. 1. Event starts 2. Event is borked and some people cannot do the flying high mission for some number of days. 3. Cryptic realizes it is borked and fixes it 4. In an attempt to do the right thing Cryptic extends event for a number of days 5. In a very poorly executed attempt to do the right thing Cryptic…
Thanks for the input. I only PvE and am new so I'm no where near having good gear. I was more interested in what others thought of it. Still figuring out if I like it or not. Was wondering if I was missing anything because it does not seem like a big deal. I'm still getting used to how agile and fast the Corvette is.
I would switch out engines in case your model is bugged or somehow stuck. I've not run into this problem. Sounds like you are not doing anything wrong that I can see. Good luck.
Please just take this as an attempt at friendly advice. Your post is very hard to read. I find that using sentences and punctuation makes it much more likely that someone will respond.
Thanks for all the advice. By the way I just figured out there are two and I have mirror patrol escort, not the mirror advanced escort if that makes a difference. Thanks.
Yes, I've earned over 3000 zen taking surveys, I certainly understand when I get screened out early. My issue is wasting 20 minutes of my time and then being told I'm screened out because I didn't give the answers they wanted. The last one I took was clearly written to elicit certain answers. Having some professional…
The one i have is the one that is given by reward from a mission and the tool tip specifically states it is part of a set and lists the other two things needed for the set. But I'm not home now so cannot give more details. I suspect the one you are referring to is Mk XII. This one is Mk X, but it does say it is part of a…
I have never had a good experience in PVP with any game. It is usually full of people who want to "pown" everyone and prove that they are the best. I kind of got tired of confirming that the people I want to associate with - helpful, respectful, kind folks - just get crowded out of pvp because of what it is. I recognize it…
Thanks for the extra information. I guess my escort does not need this set then. I am very new, still trying to figure out how the rep system works, I just made it to lvl 50 on my first character. All the additional information is much appreciated.
Just read some of this thread for the first time, but did not read all the messages. It occured to me when I ready the "title" of the thread. I guarantee that if you google "escorts online" you are not going to get many hits about Star Trek. Just sayin'.
Regarding the Klingon knife Worf uses a Klingon knife in a few of the early Klingon missions. Around level 8-10 I think. But it does not look to me like one from the show. Kind of looks to me like it would not be good for anything, but I am not a knife fighter.
