Ironically, now that you mention that, while I was leveling my 23c captain I was occasioanlly getting the Klingon "Congratulations (rank here)" voice message and when I got the promotion to lt.Com Admiral Quinn's window popped up, but J'mpok's voice over played congratulating my andorian for being a model of klingon honor…
Same issue here, arc launches fine now, but the launcher won't load. I can get to the log in screen by going into the files and using the game client.exe file but then I get the same problem and messages jowolf18 posted.
Honestly about the BoP's, they've always felt like a type of specialized escort when I've used them, where as Science Ships are a full on "class" of ship. My Tac Fed Toons might not have a battle cloaking raider to fly, but they do have plenty of t6 Escorts to pick from in the C-Store, my Sci Rom/KDF Toons on the other…
Same issue here, also tried launching directly from the Game Client.exe, Star Trek Online Crashed before it even launches, Champions Online will load to the Log In Screen but won't connect to the account server
So I friend of mine already bought the Mirror Universe Enterprise costume set and now the C-Store won't let her get the free pack, however I already had the normal Enterprise Era costume set and was able to get the set fine. Any idea what the issue is here?
Gotta shore up the borders since the various villain groups think now that the Alliance is spent from fighting the Iconians now is the perfect time to raid those fleet starbases and such? Alternatively; we need to gather more raw supplies to fix up the fleet and bases, and enemy ship wreckage is the best source? :D
I kinda dig the whole "in universe" explanation of how the new console works, and why we don't hurt each other with friendly fire from AoE attacks like that.
As has been pointed out, things weren't to scale in the actual show all the time, like the galaxy saucer sized defiant in the posted picture, so wouldn't that mean if anything the out of scale ships and stations make the game more true to the source material since that's what happened on TV? :D
PersonalIy I actually kinda like the idea of holo emitter that didn't have the time limit, but I can see the chants of "WTF Just a Holo Emitter? Craptic is too greedy and lazy to even make a REAL ship anymore dead game! dead game! DED GAAAEM!" flooding zone and the forum already.
How's it a nerf? You still get the same amount of marks, but you have to do the optional to do so, which you had to do anyhow because prior to this not doing so would cause the mission to fail.
Serious question here. What are these amazing MMOs that apparently cost less than $0 to play and still somehow have phenomenal maintenance, and constant content updates to boot? People keep hinting at them but I've never seen a name posted. I'm not being snide I seriously would love to give 'em a go but every time I do a…
Technically you can buy contraband off of the exchange which you then exchange for Dilithium. So in an indirect way the amount of EC it takes to buy 5 Contraband=2,000 Dil
Actually in the novel Klingon Empire: A Burning House in one scene Bekk G'joth of the IKS Gorkon is on shore leave and helping with an Opera being made about his captain's exploits, he laughs when he finds out the opera is making a the ship's late executive officer into the captain's love interest on the grounds that "she…
Part of me is kind of hoping that part of the reason they're retiring the Corvette and Cruiser is because they're making T6 versions of them, I mean the Corvette is supposed to be a a racing ship so that sounds like a perfect fit to the pilot abilities.
I, and no doubt many others, made Romulans using the custom alien before the "real" ones were released so ,aside from the uniform of course, I don't see why you wouldn't be able to, tricky part would be getting the sliders just right since the Alien ones have much wider ranges.
I really, really hope that is the case, I mean heck the Corvette is supposed to be a racing ship right? That would be a perfect match for the pilot abilities.
I kinda think that maybe they'll do what they did with the command ships, make the big 9 ship mega bundle of Cryptic Original ships then later make 3 "iconic" t6 ships with pilot slots, probably there we'll get a t6 Defiant, Bird of Prey, and I dunno for the Romulans, T'liss perhaps.
don't forget 6) So that no one is left out Tovan will also join up as a permanent bridge officer during the Fed and KDF tutorials, and be automatically added to all pre existing captain's crews, for those that have all their BOff slots filled Tovan will overwrite the BOff in the captain's topmost slot. I think we have Next…
No no, you misunderstand, the cloaking devices are just there as a... um.... as a honorable consideration towards the cowardly Feds, that way they won't have to spend their last moments cowering in fear seeing the honorable mighty klingon ship coming towards them allowing them to die with some small measure of honor...…
The talk about the mysterious benefactor, as well as the fact our old toons can't get retconed into Delta Recruits gave me a thought. Maybe the "in universe" rational for why our old ones can't retroactively get Delta Recruit status is that they are the mysterious benefactor. Now naturally unless the game randomly grabs a…
Well according to the game that shall not be named's forum Blizzard is the most incompetent MMO company ever, but then according to Lord of the Rings Online's Turbine is, and then accoring to The Secret World's Funcom is. So I don't know which to believe.
Probaly the same reason people take the release of new higher level ships so personaly. :D But jokes aside some people actualy like the game, they don't get all frothing with rage over some other player having a higher DPS or whatever than they do so for them nothing has changed and the game remains a enjoyable pass time.…
So basicaly Cryptic was the Devil for forcing us to grind Argala over and over and over, but now there's a cooldown so Cryptic is the Super Devil for not letting us grind Argala over and over and over? Don't get me wrong it seems like a pretty pointless change but there seems to be a lot of wailing and gnashing of teeth…
and 2 cents is probaly about as much as this cost. That is of course an exageration but whenever some minor change happens people always complain that the time and money wasn't spent on (insert thing here). They have different people doing different things, the UI guy wouldn't be working on ship materials for example and…
Honestly that's something that's always bugged me about MMOs in general. The grinding is the same gameplay as anything else in the game so if playing the game isn't something people enjoy what are they geting the gear, or whatever, for in the first place? Further once you DO get the top tier stuff then what?
