Basically, the four toons I run are all the same (as in I have the same Boffs and setup and powers etc) and they're all meant to be as such (in RP terms I run a Fed Human captain, and, by using the aliengen species, his 'alternate universe' identical twins in the RRF and the KDF, plus I also have a Mirror Universe/evil counterpart in Starfleet as my Delta Recruit).
This idea was going
swimmingly until the Romulans arrived, or more specifically the arrival of everyone's favourite first officer. I am, of course, talking about Tovan Khev
However, seeing as he clearly isn't going anyway, I figure, if you can't beat em, join em. And so here is my question.....
Is it possible to make an accurate representation of Tovan Khev using the Alien Species?

Short answer: Yes
Long answer: Go to the tailor on your rom and save him. Then go to Star fleet academy and it will let you resave him as a fed or kdf alien. (Or if you are a lifer android) Then you log into your appropriate account and load him as the template for the alien. You will have to adjust the uniform by hand, but you will get his size, face, tattoo etc.

Nor should they be. Their ships would look weird.
Next, open up your Alien Character and see if those options are replicatable. I think it should because people were making 100% Romulan looking characters with Aliens before LOR came out.
Awesome, thank you

Unless you go to Nimbus. I had him show up voice and all for Klingons and Feds at Nimbus.

You can't use the Save/Load Outfit buttons to copy him. It isn't possible to load a saved Tovan outfit on a non-Tovan boff, not even a Romulan one. You would have to take screenshots and manually set the sliders in the same position.
His default uniform is also not available.
Pls take screenshots
OP thanks for the idea.
Oh my. If you ever do that is there any chance of me getting a bridge invite, because I'd dearly love to see that .
Or screencaps, screencaps works too.
If you check the "outfit only" box, you can force the game to attempt to load the saved appearance of any other character (male or female!) as best as it can.
Anyway yeah, the Romulan appearance options are plagued with this unfortunate design decision--every bridge officer the initial story gives you has a few costume pieces that aren't available to anyone else. With as much customization and potential for unique appearances as this game offers, I'd be very happy if they'd just demolish those barriers and allow any romulan player/bridge officer to use any of the currently-unique appearance options. A bridge officer shouldn't need a unique appearance option to look unique.
Cloning the Romulan Bio-Weapon known as "Tovan", is generally considered a war-crime...

Remember that you can also alter the look of Tovan Khev so you can perhaps avoid features that the alien creator doesn't give you. Though I think Thovan-unique parts are only uniform, which you can't recreate anyway, and don't need to.
Running through 'Blood of Ancients' without giving him any shields or weapons was entertaining

A whole crew of TK is ... wow. Boredom or sadism?
Oh... God... No... That's given me flashbacks to Fallout 3 and the Vault full of Gary's...
I can just see them all stumbling around muttering "Tovan... Tovan... Tovan..."
I've always been disappointed that, after so much buildup, you don't actually get Rinna, either as a BOFF or at least a DOFF. So when my Romulan Delta Recruit did that mission, I decided to actually make a "Rinna" BOFF. I've done what I consider a reasonable job recreating the character seen in the mission -- I even made her a Pilot, as per the story. I'm just wondering if anyone has tried this, or if there's a better way of capturing the appearance of the NPC from the mission.
