If its all about the Time Gates why don't they just get creative with cooldowns. They could start using shared cooldowns to prevent constant chaining of fast STFs. Or lower the rewards.

I still use aux to bat even with Reciprocity AND AHOD!. Because it allows you to get your Weapons Power back up to 125 after having to Full Impulse across distances. Dumping aux into weapons speeds recovery from full impulse....

Plasma is already the second best energy type. Of course that buff would still fail to get it near AP.... Furthermore, why would plasma do instant damage. Its a plasma "fire". Fire is a dot in real life....
