Can you kill yourself from jumping?

I flew up to the highest point, turned off the jet pack and let my character drop.

Sometimes I Get REAL lucky and brush against the side of a tall tree and slide along the branch until I hit the ground doing little to no damage.

THen I tried again, managed to drop myself from the max height and did 888 damage which is my char full health and she didn't die. started regen from 60 hp.

So can you actually kill yourself out of combat?

    I did a pretty high fall for 100% dmg, didn't die.

    You can kill yourself out of combat but AFAIK it needs a dot effect, not falling.

    Like I zoned from one of the missions that is buggy and allows leaving the map during combat while my ship had almost zero hull and a plasma burn. Appeared at ESD not in red alert still taking damage. Blew up and took out two other people with my warp core breach.

    Perhaps one day if they install a statue of Hillary Clinton we can properly kill ourselves. No, not from staring at its face but rather from jumping off the unparalleled colossus of its a$$... :D

    what does a guy have to do to kill himself these days.

    I guess their logic is....if you wanna kill yourself....might as well draft yoursefl for the war and get killed by the Iconians

    A cannibal tribble has been used in my case, I've repeatedly leaped off the upper walkway in ESD until HP was depleted and used the tribble at same exact moment.

    *Dead player lays in busy space mall, no one cares and goes about their business* :P

    Was tricky though and needed to constantly keep myself in red alert with martial arts moves to stop health regen. but made for some funny moments.

    I have fallen off of ledges in missions and died. Never actually hit bottom, you die on the way down....

    Nice. :cool: I've only ever taken out one poor unsuspecting low level character this way.
