How would you turn him into a manual? I went on to my Romulan character to try and be rid of him, at least for a few hours, but there was no obvious way to turn him into a manual. I can only assume that it only works with new Romulan characters who can claim enough BOFFs in the tutorial to force Tovan into the overflow…
I so agree with you on this. The story missions are my number one reason to keep playing this game. Well, story missions tied with the Foundry. Everything else is just some extras to help me get to the next mission. At this point I have my main character stuck at level 58, with all my other characters around the 52/53…
I need one more piece for my Omega space set, and I can't get the BNPs I need because, firstly, when DR came out the percentage of successful STFs I participated in dropped from nearly 100 to almost none, and now I can't even get them to trigger at all, because there's no one in the queue! That frustration, combined with…
I recently saw two players do a very similar thing at Delta Quadrant Command. They had initially set up two cover shields on the bridge leading from the transporter room into the main hub, and stood their toons with dance emotes on behind the shields watching crowds of players running out of the transporter area, but…
The fact that I can't play through the story missions without spending an entire play session grinding a bunch of content I'm not as interested in just to get to the next level.
Perhaps they could also touch on the fact that there used to be an exact duplicate of T'Nae standing around on Drozana Station before they remodelled it. :P
Yep, posted multiple bug reports. My main character loses all of his active Space DOFFs every time he beams in or out of a ground map. Really irritating, especially when you're in a mission and you beam straight from the ground into space combat, and don't have enough time to reset your DOFFs before you get stuck in Red…
I have never saved a loadout. I have one set of equipment and abilities for each character. On top of my primary character (Laurence Corrin@diotw) having his active space DOFFs unseat every time he goes to or from a ground map, I've noticed today that his power tray resets itself. I added Ramming Speed into an empty slot,…
Yep, have to agree with you on this one, Leviathan. For the last few weeks it's felt like I'm being punished for the actions of a very small minority that are pushing the envelope. It almost seems like Cryptic has taken on the role of a nun in an old style Catholic school, wrapping the players across the knuckles with a…
Put the new material on my Odyssey class today, it looks fantastic! I've never been a huge fan of the stark black and white of the 2409 ships, so being able to fly mine in a nice shade of battleship grey with pale blue line details was pretty cool.
My first reaction on seeing those outfits? "MY EYES! MY EYES! THE GOOGLES THEY DO NOTHING!" Also, my wife would like me to mention that the Andorian on the right of the promo picture appears to be cosplaying as Frozone. :P
QFT. I have a character who isn't going to use any of the Borg set pieces who's sitting on 13 BNPs. I have another character who is grinding the Adapted M.A.C.O. space set, who hasn't been able to get a BNP in weeks.
A countdown, especially on events like the MUI, would be really helpful. Kind of sucks to play through the whole thing, then discover right at the end that you miscalculated the time, and now you've run it an extra, unnecessary time.
I've been doing a bit of testing with my characters, and this is what I've discovered so far. The DOFF issue is only happening on my main character (Laurence Corrin@diotw). Every time I transfer either to, or from, a ground map, all of my active space DOFFs are removed.
Yeah, that was pretty spoiler-rific. I'd been purposefully staying away from the latest blogs and the boards to avoid spoiling the surprise (I'm at level 56, so I should hit 60 in about a month :P ). Turns out that all that trying was for nothing, as Cryptic goes and sticks the spoiler right on the front of the launcher.…
My main character is one BNP away from being able to complete an Omega gear project. I've been unable to complete an STF since the first one I ran after DR was released. I have an alt that's just plugging away for the traits, and isn't going to try for any of the gear. He's received three BNPs from rep reward boxes in the…
It is really irritating, especially if that's what you're trying to focus on. I have a Sci character in a Wells class and whenever I play him in the MUI, I try to focus on flying around as fast as I can, closing portals before the rest of the team gets overwhelmed. If I'm lucky, it goes well. If I'm having a bad day, I get…
Both of those ideas sound fantastic! I would love to be able to get the full Mirror Universe experience without having to sacrifice as much performance as we have to now.
Active space DOFFs are unseating themselves with irritating regularity. Seems to be pretty much every time I beam up to the ship, they've all wandered off again.
My active space DOFFs are always unseating themselves, and then last night I had my Very Rare Isis DOFF (I believe she was from the Temporal Lockbox) vanish from the available roster.
I just want to play the story! I've only got one of my characters playing the new content right now. I went back to him after using an alt for the Dilithium weekend, ready to continue the DR story. Trouble is, I had just levelled up to level 53 when I left him, so it has basically taken me an entire play session to grind…
He certainly isn't what he seems. For instance, he manages to be stationed on Earth Space Dock, and Delta Quadrant Command at the same time. Which one's the imposter? :P
