Daily Bonus

I wonder if there is a way in the future for Cryptic to have a display to show a timer for when you are available to get another daily bonus mark package. And yes I can count but a timer would be so much more easier :D . What do y'all think of it.

    this ^

Also for things like the collection of the items for the MU Event. (in this case a last contributed date/time on the Rep project window would work for me)

Neverwinter makes every "daily" thing reset when the astral diamond (dilithium) refining resets. Dunno why STO can't do the same. It's a much better system.

A count down timer has been suggested. Heck when ever I hear about a thread from a dev asking for suggestions I go threw it to see if a count down timer for Winter summer daily items is on it, also I have been adding a timer for the daily rep box.

I would supect it would be not to difficult to add when a UI artist and UI programmer have time. I could see the two easiest reasons for it not to have been implemented is.

    1. There has not been enough time to add such a feature. I hope this is the reason.

    2. PWE or a dev team member blocks the feature drawing an analogy to Casinos and no clocks. If you do not have a visible clock you may end up playing more giving them better online numbers.

A countdown, especially on events like the MUI, would be really helpful. Kind of sucks to play through the whole thing, then discover right at the end that you miscalculated the time, and now you've run it an extra, unnecessary time.

Please don't ask them to make STO more like Neverwinter!! We have enough micro transactions as it is right now.

I would really like to see this added to the game as a feature. I see people asking for this in fleet chat every time we have an event like Mirror invasion or crystal cataclysm.

Seems like every other game that I play has this basic function built in on timed events/mission/etc. For now I use R&D or DoFF 20hr timers just before I start an event.

I much prefer the 20 hour cycle.
Also, having it reset with the dil reset would probably mean that the dilithium reset needs to be the same time as event start/stop times.
