I've seen several people saying the endeavour won't trigger, yet for me I got it as soon as the first PvP match was done. There is clearly something strange about it. Maybe there is some kind of trigger condition within the match itself?
Agreed. Noye was an obvious problem from the moment we met him. and thanks to us, 'history' was allowed to repeat itself. If it wasn't Annorax, it was always going to be someone else. But that doesnt change the fact he is guilty of Kylo Ren-levels of baseless whining.
These are all REALLY nice first peaks... However, it does reinforce my fear that the Romulan Carrier just looks... Unfinished. Like, there is REALLY supposed to be something pointing out of the front of that hull... I get that it's kinda looks like a T'liss from above, but... it just doesnt fit the romulan aesthetic then…
Well, as much as a LOVE these ships coming in, the single crushing dissapointment of this box is the Romulan Carrier. The fact that it is NOT the Nerada makes me a very very sad panda. Also, i feel that if THAT was the best angle you could find to take a picture of it, i fear what the rest of it looks like... :) Secodly,…
The only thing that makes me slightly sad about this is the lack of intention of adding Temporal boff stations to any older ships... i mean, Seriously, if the Wells/Mobius/Paradox/Annorax dont deserve Temporal tricks, i don't know what's going on with this crazy timeline anymore :)
Real Temporal Operative bought that pack before it was officially released! XD But the distinction between TOS and Federation characters is certainly interesting. If i were to be dangerously optimistic... What it the Temporal Operative spec allows you to use 'non faction' ships, to fit the theme of the future galactic…
I've actually found it a little unsettling that the tholians have gone silent. It's almost as if they are taking advantage of the emergence of the Na'khul, as a convenient distraction, for whatever else they happen to be planning right now...
Recently i've been having a mot of fun transferring my characters to tribble, and buying all the visual shields for 'free' to see what's worth grinding for once it goes live. For example, i found the Counter Command shield looks really good on almost any Romulan ship. And Aegis is still very nice on almost everything else…
I suspect the two things are not directly connected. The 'skin' on your ship can be changed, the the warp field is a separate ability that the engine grants, not tied to that. But hey, at least you dont have to comprimise your build to get faster sector travel :D
Yeah, it's an OK idea, but i would say it isn't what the game needs... Especially if they ever want to make Carriers a truly viable ship choice. Now, if they WERE going to add a new wepon type, i think we need Heavy Beam banks. After all, we have Heavy cannons... why not heavy beams?
i don't pay attention to the registry numbe,r beyong keeping the first one a got and updating the letter after each new ship i fly, but y toons all have ship names of significance to the ship type, one way or another. My Tac captain flies the Manticore, which i called the Delphinus (because Skies of Arcadia is one of my…
what were you expecting, the 'good' bonuses that 'everyone' wants would naturally be at the end of the road. Personally, i think the first SCI bonus is worthless... But then, i am a fairly patient player, and happy to cruise towards my objectives while sorting out admiralty and stuff. For me, Threat/Batteries is a total…
Bort, not to sound rude, but Beams are HARDLY the red-headed stepchild of the game right now... I know you don't want to disrupt the meta, but that just makes it even more important to buff the underdogs if you wont nerf the overwhelming majority. What happened to being 'open to suggestions'? It's getting rather…
I also think the skill choices were better when energy weapon were at the end. In my mind, the most logical and user friendly order for the skills is: Torps > Stealth/threat > Hangar Bonus > Energy weapons 5 pts for torps is good because they are generally best early on, they need all the help they can get right now, and…
This would definately be my question too. There is obviously some kind of mechanical distinction between an hangar bay and a separation pet, but surely the bonuses can be made to apply to either? Separation pets are a SERIOUSLY neglected trick in the game right now. I honestly can't remember the last time i saw anyone use…
Emphasis on the part of the point you've missed. You are only losing something if you refuse to re-invest. and even then, you are just replacing that with other, new, bonuses elsewhere.
Uhh, people were gonna say that no matter what, because the mob mentality of this forum ovverules almost everything. You could give EVERY fed player a free Plasmonic leech, and then they'd all complain about being 'forced' to invest in Flow Caps...
I would say shield mastery is a tough one. But i would agree that when i am killed by massive damage, it generally ISN'T a crit Normally, it's just a single Terran Torpedo Spread... ):/ As for HOW it could be improved... That really isn't my area. maybe also give it a VERY slight increase to shield…
I fully endorse this idea. I love the IDEA of playing a Carrier, but the reality is that it's no differant from playing anything else right now, except your ship isn't as good as your teammates, and your fighter pilots fly like they never finished training school. If nothing else, it would add a welcome dash of variety to…
