I'm curious if the game will get a bit of a visual reboot. With the new show taking place around 10 years before the STO timeline - will the Odyssey uniform be replaced with the now canon Picard show uniform for example?
Wow, this could be fun... My Fed main, Christian T Edwards would be voiced by Paul McGann. My KDF main Kros by Terry Crews My ROM main Kriztan by Keifer Sutherland My 23rd Cent Main Chris Busch by Chris Evans My Jem'Hadar by Dwayne Johnson
It's been mentioned many times, but I would love to see a T6 Vor'cha. Would also love to see/have: T6 Oberth T6 Pioneer New Orleans Kelvin Newton (Kelvin Timeline)
I would like to see the Ferengi military uniform. The TOS Gorn uniform. A "newer" style Gorn uniform that updates the old TOS uniform - or at the very least, let me have bare Gorn feet if I choose the KDF skant! Some customizing options for the Cardassian uniform. The Cage style TOS uniform. The jacket variant of The Cage…
This article shows there are some greens and blues in the uniform: https://startrekartifacts.wordpress.com/2015/07/21/costume-study-cardassian-military-uniform/ The color palette on the one in game isn't that great, and the division of color sections is off from the canon uniform. The color palettes are even different from…
I have characters named after family members and ship names that are something related to each one. My main toons in each faction are variations of my name and I have a female toon in each faction named after my wife. On the KDF side I made up my own Klingon House with characters named after myself, my wife, daughter,…
I'm not the only one with the no Gorn Feet issue then? I saw someone post on Facebook with a pic of their toon with the skant and bare feet, but I can't get it to work for me. @"themadprofessor#9835" - I saw the shoes and socks option too and laughed out loud - had to show it to my wife so she knew what was so funny :)
@badmoonrisin I like the updated look. I like the hip guards, they remind me of one of the Kzinti concepts I looked up. The same one I tried to replicate with the Hirogen armor. I like C'Rau's minimalist look too. I have the Mirror Bortasqu outfit on one of my Klingons. Been saving up Lobi to get it for my Gorn too.
I like the backstory. I call mine Hektor. I made up my own Klingon House for my KDF characters, the House of Kros. Hector was invited to join the House after befriending Kros (my KDF main) and finding a kindred spirit in him. IRL, he's named after Hector, the cat my grandfather had when I was a kid, who was the meanest,…
That looks cool. Thanks for sharing. I also tried to replicate the TAS look using the Intel uniform, but the color palates are off. The best I could manage was a pale red with a blue gray scheme. I kind of like it though. Also thinking about the Engineer Pilot ship, or I might just get the Silithus. [img][/img]…
I have a good number of KDF toons. Even made my own house they belong to, the House of Kros. Most are based on myself and family, my wife loves the Orion toon I made after her.
I have a character set up like that. His backstory is he was part of the True Way, then worked for the Federation before "retiring" on Virinat, joining the Rom Republic after the attack.
Unfortunately, there are only model kits available for the canon on-screen ships. 3D printing and scratchbuilding are the only options for the more STO-centric ship designs. Of all the exclusive to STO ships, I think only the Odyssey would be viable for Round 2 (the model kit company that holds the license to produce Star…
Yeah, all of the images on their site are rough and grainy looking like that, for all of their miniatures. I would really much rather have the base model with custom decals for the ship name/number/misc details so I can sand it down and paint myself, but these aren't being marketed toward modelers as much as they are for…
I don't know, in this pic, the ship doesn't look much bigger than the mouse. Maybe they will offer 2 sizes. Gallery_3_Small by Christian Osika, on Flickr I hope these are a fairly reasonable prices. As a model builder myself, I have already collected quite a few of the canon ships in 1/2500 scale that I use on my toons.…
My only complaint about AoY is that it doesn't last long enough. Would have liked much more of a story and arc before going into the 25th century to play the rest of the game.
I've suspected ever since Sela said the Iconians can't travel in time because it would kill them, that time travel would somehow be used to defeat them.
