I've experienced the Slipstream Ninjaing issue as well and yeah, it's occasionally annoying - especially in VA B'Tran where the explorable systems are really contingented. *sigh* I, for one, would've appreciated a gameplay environment from Cryptic's hands that would've made it so that I'd be happy to see other players in my vicinity, rather than see them as rivals.
Though, I'll admit I've been more annoyed in B'Tran by the Defiant-class retrofits. Those things are tiny! I sometime don't see them coming and snatch an anomaly or system from me. I mean, usually, if I see a ship already moving to claim one, I'll go for greener pastures but these - they're sometimes hard to make out.

You know what your exactly right they didn't do anything at all to me they are perfectly innocent. the more I play this game I'm starting to learn how to really act towards people. believe it or not pklaying wow for 5 years I learned a lot and from playing this I'm learning even more how to deal with their types in this game. So from now on when i encounter types like pres and soverign I'm just going to start acting like them in the game. Or better yet just start acting like everyone else over the forums and the game. If you can't beat them might as well join them. if the game goes under as a result who cares I'll just do like the others do move onto the next one until that one goes under because of the community and then rinse and repeat. If you want to fix this, ask Cryptic to either reduce the amount of follks that can be in a single exploration cluster instance or increase the respawn timers of these clusters. This is what you get when you make stuff everyone wants then dump the objective in a box ill-equiped to handle everyone trying to complete it.
I know I do and I know a lot of others do as well, fish through B'Tran for missions that grants you Diplomatic points. I enter the mission, look at what the objectives are then if they are obviously not going to grant DXP I leave and go in to an other system.
This is something that a lot of players are doing because Cryptic didn't grant those at RA5 any DXP for all the previous missions that they should have gotten DXP for.
This is something contributed to by the fact that the Ambassador Jiro Sugihara gives out new missions at a rate that it way too slow.
So there are many factors contributing to the current situation.
1. The amount of players in each instance/spawn time for anomalies.
2. The fact players are farming for Diplomatic Exploration missions.
3. Turn-rate problems after the latest change.
Or remove slip-stream in the exploration clusters.
No, they need to improve Slipstream to last longer so I can traverse an entire 3 sector Sector Block with it. Such as Sirius Sector Block or Regulus Sector Block. As the Exploration Clusters are Sector Blocks they must not remove it. Warp is too slow as it is already.

Exploration clusters are the problem, not slipstream. The fact that there's a avenue for us to fight like mad cats for a couple of samples isnt a good build.
There's talk in the season 3 secret project leviathan made that this will change though. So its like a non-issue for me.
My tip for Btran is: just stay right on the spawn point of an anomaly. Every 1-2 minutes the anomalies respawn and you'll certainly be the first one to scan them. I got 3 rares yesterday in about 15 minutes. There seem to bee different spawn points for explore and scan anomalies. So if you're up to exploring, choose another spawn.

Since getting to vice admiral I am now noticing an increase in ninjaing activities in the btran cluster vice admiral. people have been using their slip stream to steal scan anamlies right in front of me or to jump into an enemy system before I can get there or just as I get there they use slip stream to jump right in front of me. Has anyone else been encountering this? discuss.
While far from a fix this could reduce the frequency of slip stream ninjas. Right click the bar above your mini-map. Select "Change Instance." Chose an instance with less players. Good luck.
