While I do feel that the "premium" pack is definitely not worth it over the normal pack (a title and the other write goodies are not worth an extra 100$ or 150$ when not on sale. As others have suggested the supplementary goods need to be greatly increased)
I do feel the normal package is worth it for the 200$ price tag. 10 ships that all seem like I would enjoy them atleast a bit? Yes please. And the Connie's certainly make me happy. I'm sure to get a lot of use out of a lot of the ships. I just wish that the 10 ship slots was account wide(seriously I'm probably not going to use all 10 ships all at once on ANY singular character so having the ship slots only be for a single character is silly and it wouldve been a nice benefit of the bundle).
Two promo ship variants in the bundle... that's a pretty big slap in the face of the people who went through the trouble of getting one or both of those the old way, and a clear signal that even people who do pursue promo ships should reconsider the time and expense of acquiring iconic ships in that fashion.
If you want to add value to the package then come up with a way to let people trade back their TOS and Discovery constitution ships for alternative promo pack choices, and a way to trade back their Kelvin Constitutions and Crossfields for alternative lockbox ships?
Seriously, Cryptic has been using the disco connie to sell their promo chances for months now, only to laugh at anyone who fell for that by handing them out as guaranteed acquisitions in a bundle. Is this part of a new plan to alienate absolutely everybody?
TL:DR Version = Don't expect anything to remain "box" or Lobi exclusive forever with the changing views on in game gambling.
This and the recent Picard Bundle are most likely an attempt to test the market and find the zen price we a willing to pay for "Promo ships"!
With the Growing hatred of lock boxes and randomized purchases in video games leading some countries to start investigations in to how to regulate or even ban them outright, It only make sense that perfect world would start working on a backup plan for when there primary source of income is regulated in a major market.
I would except all "box" or Lobi exclusives to slow work there way in to the new Mudds market over the next year or two with roughly a 6 month exclusive period for them to be box/Lobi only up till box's are completely phased out.
But of course this is all dependent on how quickly and severely any new regulations are create and put into affect in a major market if your lucky you may be able to keep gambling for years to come.
As for me I find the bundle to be a little expensive but not out of what i would expect from an alternative income source trial. I have yet to decide if i can find a way to make ends meet on the price.
The end of the core F2P mechanic cant come soon enough in my not so humble opinion. I loathe the gamblebox paradigm with passion.

Have to say I'm a little bit disappointed that the B and C weren't included in this bundle
I would of also liked to have seen a T6 version of the A that was separate to the TOS Connie, instead of just a skin for it.
TOS Connie and the A are separate ships when you use the lower level ones included when playing through the game so i would like to see the same with the T6 variants.
Very cool guys, put up a Zen sale at the same time and you got me sold for sure. Oh, also, I'd love to see some legendary ships for the Klingons and Romulans as well. We have what 3 D7's as well and the Romulans have the Kelvin carrier and whatnot...
Bundle is being pulled. CBS said no end game Constitutions.
Just so I'm clear here, this is not true.

Hello Devs: Just asking will there be a 10TH ANNIVERSARY LEGACY STARSHIP BUNDLES for the Klingons ! Have Klingon ships from movies, tv series just like Federation. Always wanted D7 Miracle Carrier and ship that look like it from movies and tv. Please I hope will be making this too , thanks - Happy 10th Anniversary!
Yes please. I would love to spill Fek'lhr blood with my new KDF ships.
A little disappointing that the 2256 Constitution doesn't include the refit skin and other Constitution skins
The Disco Connie is 1.5x larger than the TOS Connie, so they wouldn't be compatible as-is. I don't think it would be too difficult to either scale the TOS Connie parts up or scale the Disco Connie parts down to make them available for the other version, but either:
A ) The devs want to keep them distinct from one another.
Or
B ) CBS doesn't want them scaled up or down for some reason.
My dream come true for an ultimate Connie would be a Disco variant with the TOS, Refit, and Cryptic parts scaled up and the JJPrise parts scaled down, would be the perfect ship for kitbashing.
If I didn't hold off on sales since the last Zen bonus we've had, I would've had to skip this bundle deal. Not being a Dil farmer or wheeler/dealer, I have to do the the old fashioned way.
Mind you I'd rather buy Arc gift cards, rather than deal with the interest rates of credit cards, but they are not available where I live. Even Steam cards are becoming more rare.
I hope the 10 ship slots are like the inventory slot tokens like the Alienware Arena bundle had, where you could trade it among other characters in your account. I'd rather be able to save it for my main (ST:Picard update) Romulan or Borg Cooperative character (if we are able to get those).
Yeah, unfortunately you gotta grind energy creds for months just to get that. Or buy keys during a key sale and a: Gamble on boxes and hope you get a ship pack (fat chance) or b. Sell the keys for as much as possible per unit. This isn't a game. It's a job. Last I checked folks played games to escape the tedium and exploitation of ever worse jobs.

And as such it is a gamble to get what you want, hardly a perfect world. Good job on the relatively highly accessible bundle then!
The ships and new options look fantastic. The ship team have once again done a fantastic job. Bravo!
Like so many other folks, my biggest gripe with this bundle however is the decision not to make the ships available individually (even if doing so meant the more sought after ones were more than the standard 3000 zen). In October I grabbed a pack of T6 ship tokens from the Mudd store, ready for the 'ships you've been waiting for'. Would seem reasonable to expect to be able to use those tokens at the anniversary on highly anticipated new ships. Now I've been double-whammied: not only am I in the same boat as many others in already having several of the ships (or close variants thereof), but now I'd have been better of if I'd kept my zen, or I'll have to pay yet again.
I do get the argument as to why many ships have to be hard to obtain, and how the finance model keeps the game free-to-play and developing, but I also - justifiably I think - feel miffed that I've effectively been stung for my zen there having planned ahead in good faith.
Here's hoping the ships do become available individually down the line. I'm not holding my breath, let's be honest. Guess I'll keep having to slowly grind EC for a Donnie on the exchange. Perhaps the exchange prices for the corresponding lockbox ships will come down once this pack is released.

Why didn't you save Zen rather than the T6 tokens? Is there something I am missing in that statement?

Hi all I am a returning player to the game, I haven't played in a long time and can see a lot has changed, its been a few years.
I have opted to start a new char to try and relearn the game but so far enjoying the game again. The reason for this post is I have the Zen to buy either of the bundles, the only advantage of having a lifetime sub keep ticking on.
for a returning player would this pack be worth getting ? or is it something more for the hardcore players. and if you would recommend the bundle which one and why ?
I know I am likely asking a lot and suspect in the end it will likely come down to me having to choice blind, but outside of looks I have no idea what is good/bad and so on. Or if the extra's in the premium bundle is worth it or I am better saving the zen for something else as a lot of the stuff that is in it being honest I have no idea what they are.

Here is my take, I am a causal player [but then I started my own fleet] If you have limited amount of ships from non-use then it likely a good deal unlike B'Vat's deal to those researchers. At least the Ship only deal at 19500 zen, I don't think there are many that thing second one is a good deal. however you might find some of it useful, to each their own. It is basically another ship Via Epic Token from the Phoenix box collection which are former event ships I believe. I going all in because of that token because I have a Bajoran crew that need a Bajoran ship.

I assume if you are here, you like Star Trek, the shows or movies. Unless your favorite ship is the Excelsior, chances are it is one of the ships in the pack. If you care more about gameplay, whatever ship style you prefer, cruisers, escorts, or science ships, they are all represented in the pack. If you value looking good whatever you're doing, these ships are easily some of the best looking in the game. If you're after power, there are some ships that can do more than these, but most of these ships are really good and probably better than their existing counterparts, like the Sovereign and Defiant.
All of these ships have counterparts already in game, however, some are extremely rare because they only come in lockboxes, thus are extremely expensive to acquire, most likely costing more than the pack itself while it is on sale. Of the ships you can just buy with zen from the Cstore, the ships in this pack are superior versions in many respects, being full specialzation ships and not needing a fleet version to get the full 11 console slots, and contain the full console sets for those ships as well as all existing costume options for the ships, which is useful if you didn't buy the tier 5 and below versions of that ship.
So firstly, you have to decide if you like any of these ships. If you're not picky and want some good ships to play with, yes just get the pack. If you think you'd fly 4-5 of them I'd say you've still got a very good deal in front of you. If you only really like 1 or 2, then you have some serious things to consider, depending on which ship it is. It may still be a good deal depending on the ship.
Now, if you prefer playing only Romulans or Klingons, you get nothing from this pack besides the account unlock traits. Maybe that's still valuable to you, but if that were the case I would probably not get it myself.
On which of the two packs to get, get the cheaper one. The $450 pack is a terrible value unless you're lucky with opening those boxes, and both give you the same ships.
Hearing, on the grapevine, that the new skins will be specific to the bundled ships - i.e the R&D prize Miracle Worker DSC Constitution won't be able to use the Eaves skin from the DSC Constitution in the bundle.
Some actual confirmation (over this hearsay) on this would be VERY nice though......
I don't think this will be the case, the ships that leaked on the ingame ship vendor were shown as new costumes for existing ships with the little Zen symbol next to the name.

I Like the contents of both the standard and premium bundles, but the zen cost leaves much to be desired, especially when you look at the actual dollar amounts involved in purchasing the zen required to obtain either of these packs, and if i have this right, which it's simple math so let's hope i do, since even a Ferengi could do it, the dollar amount for these pack are as follows,

Sounds like a waste of hard earned money if you ask me, unless you have thousands of millionaires playing this game, which i highly doubt.
Honestly though if i had a decent income, I'd gladly toss it into an active warp core to buy the premium bundle.
To be honest, I have a favourite ship, we all do. We want to fly that one and some of us, only that one.
Is $200 worth a loss of hull to my ship and command spec with no sensor analysis (Odyssey). pets suck... I doubt i'd even pay 3000 zen for that...
