Getting: "Unable to authenticate: Connection to the account server timed out" too now every time I attempt to log-in. Yeah, it is, supposed to be, my last day needed to earn my T'Pau ship too. Typical Cryptic lol.
nyone else having issues logging into the server? I keep getting "Unable to authenticate: Connection to the account server timed out," when trying to launch the launcher.
So got the same message this morning, then after the emergency maintenance I got in fine, just tried to get back on now and the launcher updated and suddenly getting connection errors again. Fun times.

They fixed it once, and it is happening again. I award the effort, but they always have issues like this often. I know they will fix it, it is just frustrating.

As well at 1:40 PM PST on Wed. 2/6/19 (This is still after your Emergency Maintenance - now listed as 'completed' and after downloading a Launcher update.)
Did a ipconfig /flushdns command as well - same result.
Seems like your Emergency Maintenance didn't fix the issue for everyone.
(Maybe Cryptic should TRY to get a better ISP than Cogent?)

Got logged in once. Finished my daily Dil gathering. Got my T'Pau, leveled it. Went to changed characters, timed out and now cant get back in. 1345 PST.

Seems whatever maintenance happened hasn't fixed the stability of the account server. It's down again as far as I can tell.
That Tardigrade Maintenance Squad needs to be fed more Klingons... or their hamsterwheels need oiling
