Yeah, they modified the News Blog. Consoles are now at 10/11 instead of 11/12.
The 'normal' price they revert to after the sale is now 3,000/4,000 instead of 3,000/5,000. So the 20% sale would put the prices at 2,400/3,200. That would mean you pick up a that second ship in the Bundle for 1,000 or 800 during the sale.

Though I do wonder why we get a totally random classification again. "Recon destroyer" - what is that supposed to be? The New Orleans class was a "frigate" in canon. Plain and simple. Why not just call it that?
Because Cryptic decided to call Ships like Kids Toys.
Battleships are called Dreadnoughts because kewl.
Would be to difficult to name ship classes according to task and specialty.
Escort sounds so much better then Corvette or Frigate.
Dreadnought instead of Battleship ask kids they will tell you Dreadnoughts must be the thing History is no reason to use proper designations.

Technically, heavier-than-cruiser ships in Star Trek have been called Dreadnoughts since the Franz Josef Star Fleet Technical Manual came out in the '70's. So, while there are a LOT of things to blame Cryptic for, that's not one of them. The 3-nacelle future Enterprise in "All Good Things..." was a hat tip to the Technical Manual Dreadnought, although copyright issues and failed negotiations prevented TPTB from directly using the actual Franz Josef designs themselves on screen. (If memory serves, though, schematics of a Franz Josef designs appeared in ST II & III.)
I wouldn't mind playable Breen myself and I don't care if they have restricted customization like not being able to remove their suits, it would give me more of an excuse to play the new faction and use my Breen event ships.
I thought Monarch and Venture were only Galaxy class variants.
The Nebula has the skins too, though they may go by a different name. The New Orleans is more or less a scaled down Galaxy anyway (same saucer style, same hull style, same nacelles) and so it would be nice if other elements of the STO Galaxy became available to the STO New Orleans.

They are available for the Dreadnaught Cruiser and Nebula as well

Can't really say i'm surprised, it isn't a true version of the ship seen as a piece of junk on TNG and the design of the ship is a sloppily copied design with minor alterations to the ship design, it's not a unique looking ship design. i was hoping for something a lot more unique, one thing i can't ever fault cryptic on until now is their imagination for ship designs.
the raptor looks like a kit bash of various raptors from what is already on the list. there is also no romulan version or jem'hadar version either.
Cryptic needs to start figuring out what it wants out of this because so far this release is not a good sign if it is the way they are going and the lack of additional ship designs, especially for the jem'hadar leaves a lot to be desired as far as motivation is concerned for the jem'hadar faction, both before and after.
T6 Miranda Hero Ship FTW. Been around since Dec 2010 on STO and bought LTS in Apr 2013 for STO.

What people don't seem to realize the studio made an undamaged version of the ship first, but they only showed the wreckage version.
yea not going anywhere near this, what a rip off, only two ships and the set up is rather rubbish. why on earth would you put so much science on engineers ships. waste of time.
They already said that it's going for less than 3 ship bundles.
not the point, the three ship bundle are exactly 3 for the price of 2, this is simply a money grab
And this is two ships for marginally more than the price of one. It's not as catastrophic as you are implying. Again, individual ships generally sell at 3000 zen. This bundle is 4000 zen. So you basically only pay 1000 zen for one of the two ships.
yes but as it is now i wont even look at this, however if they added a Romulan version as well making it a three ship bundle i would have seriously considered buying them. the ships are very mediocre at best with their console and bridge officer layouts that it does not make them a very wise buy unless you actually love the new looks. at the end of the day it is a shame it was not a three ship bundle.
Just got the Lafayette class and wow it is gorgeous! Is there any chance we could get an alternative version of the New Orleans nacelles without the phaser strips on top? They're nice, but they weren't present on the studio model.
4,000 for both without the discount, 3,200 with the discount. Reread the revised News Blogs.

Due to a technical glitch, we've had to temporarily remove the ability to purchase the new Recon Destroyer Bundle ships and their fleet versions from the ship store. The non-fleet versions are still available in the C-store, and we will restore the ship store soon.

I'd buy it. Hell if they had a TOS only version of STO I'd play that in a heart beat. I love the look of those days.
