If you ask me, it's kind of strange that everytime fed or klingons develop a new ship, romulans do. I mean, maybe the next development will be for roms and jems only, and then fed, only klingon, and so on. This is not just about selling ships, but developing a story, and uncoordinated developments sound more "realistic" to me.

That being said, with everything that we're putting together for Age of Discovery in the fall, and the Anniversary in 2019, I wouldn't expect to see those ships right away. As always, we'll keep you updated.
I wouldn’t mind trading time spent on Discovery stuff for time spent on other stuff.

Wow.. I honestly can't believe you typed that. Please, I urge you.. go back and re read what you just typed.. if you don't see why that's one of the silliest things ever said then you should be very worried. You're obviously a lot smarter then this.
I'm tired of the fearmongering, and I was irritable from not eating. Real tired of everything being some conspiracy to do whatever to whatever faction in favor of another.
I see no reason why they won't continue as they have and make Romulan ships alongside Fed and KDF.
Now that Romulans can fly FED or KDF T6 ships, there's no reason to make Romulan equivalents of them. The only Romulan ships that we will see will probably be minor race type releases. Think of the 9 pack of escorts with Andorian, Lethean and Dewan ships. Or think of the recent Cardassian 3 pack. This is the future of Romulan ships. Very few and far between.
When you see "TRIBBLE" in my posts, it's because I manually typed "TRIBBLE" and censored myself.
One instance is not evidence. If it is repeated, then you have evidence. Until a trend is shown, single events don't count as evidence because they are just that. SINGLE events. Not policy or anything else.
It's evidence of a precedent. It's evidence of the first case in a long time, of Romulans getting the fat end shaft for a ship release.
Were any TOS ships released for green or red factions? Not counting the temporal promo pack ships. What about utilizing those old style TOS Klingon Empire bridges? You see any TOS Orion lockbox, promo pack, or lobi ships, for example?
"Hope is the first step on the road to disappointment."
Not saying that there won't be Romulan or JH ships in the future, but let's see what they come out with for Romulan ships with the TRIBBLE "expansion" coming out soon, for starters.
I have noticed a lot fewer Romulans in-game ever since the "Victory is Life" expansion arrived.Unless you go to a Romulan specific area, even then very few around.
Guess the Romulans have dropped to the fourth in game race after Fed,Klingons and Jem.

It's that new ship smell for the JH stuff. The honeymoon phase hasn't ended yet, as I see the JH Vanguard dreadnought all over the place still. Almost like it's the JH Scimitar.

It probably is. I honestly prefer the warship or Carrier myself.
As I posted in the announcement that Romulans were getting access to all of their chosen factions ships...people told me I was crazy that they were going to use this as a excuse to not make more Romulan ships.
Can't say I'm to surprised the first new primary faction ships they already abandoned Romulans.
"we aren't planning on never making another Romulan or JH ship" Sounds so full of hope...or is it just for plausible deniability for people like me who have been around for more than half a decade and knows exactly how Cryptic works...
We'll probably see a Romulan ship released after the next anniversary and then nothing else for a long time.
Can't have a honest conversation because of a white knight with power
The stats will be released soon, usually within a day or 2 of the ship announced, ship will probably be available thursday or friday at the latest-depending on your time zone.
I'm tired of the fearmongering, and I was irritable from not eating. Real tired of everything being some conspiracy to do whatever to whatever faction in favor of another.
I certainly understand where you're coming from man, I do.
I also understand why people think this is a bad sign. We got the unlock for Romulans to use allied ships and people asked if this meant that there would be no new Romulan Ships. Then first release right out of the gates.. no Romulan ship.. a move that's a deviation from the standard previously established.
I get that sometimes the fear mongering, over reactions, and conspiracy theories gets annoying and believe me man.. I am with you 100%. In this instance however, I personally feel that it's justified. I understand that 'official word' is that new Romulan ships have not been discontinued but actions speak louder then words.
While I believe that the official word is true, I do strongly suspect that it means that Romulan Ship release will now be a rarity going forward. While they may not be totally stopped, I expect them to be increasingly more rare.

Since we're talking about realism: The Romulan Republic is small and in the process of building a new capital. Ressources are scarce. They have no shipyards or orbital research centers. How on Earth would they be capable of developing and constructing hundreds of new, state of the art spaceships? Realism is no longer an argument. That ship sailed a long time ago.
i cannot see any Romulan ships appearing in the fall Discovery expansion.
But as it happens to be another temporal/time travel expansion-i wonder if there is a remote possibilty of an Enterprise based expansion.
We already have a few ships/uniforms etc.
It could cover the Federation/Romulan war -which Enterprise, would have covered if not cancelled.
That alone would satisfy a lot of Romulan players-but it depends on CBS/Cryptic.

Kael said "yes" to that question when I asked on page 2.

We already had an Enterprise season. It's called Future Proof.

Though I do wonder why we get a totally random classification again. "Recon destroyer" - what is that supposed to be? The New Orleans class was a "frigate" in canon. Plain and simple. Why not just call it that?

Noyt sure you fully understood...however:
What i ment was cover the Romulan -Federation war between the Enterprise and TOS time periods.
Which would have started with Captain Archer fighting the Romulans.
if they could get away with not making kdf ships and still make enough money to get all the actors they want, they would, hell they did spend two years not making kdf ships. or if they could sell fed ships to kdf and have them actually buy em, they'ld stop making kdf ships in a heartbeat.
The only reason why we're even getting a KDF variant is so they can point to it when KDF-aligned Romulans and Jem'hadar ask where their Recon Destroyer is. The announcement that Romulan and Jem'hadar players could fly their allies ships was actually a small boon to the KDF, since it may have insured that they will at least still be getting new Klingon ships ever now and then.
But yeah, if Cryptic could get away with it at this point, they'd only make Federation ships, with the odd non-Fed ship possibly only showing up in lockboxes and R&D promo boxes. I'm actually kind of surprised they haven't yet tried to lump everyone together under the Federation banner; they've already laid the groundwork for such a merger in the story. Maybe they plan on doing so slowly, to minimize the consternation. Small steps...like not bothering with making new Romulan or Dominion ships anymore, for example.
"There will never be enough blood to wash away my need for vengeance! A single world...I could destroy a million worlds and it would not be enough! Your existence is an insult to the memory of my people! I will continue my fight, even if I must fight alone!"
Though I do wonder why we get a totally random classification again. "Recon destroyer" - what is that supposed to be? The New Orleans class was a "frigate" in canon. Plain and simple. Why not just call it that?
Because Cryptic decided to call Ships like Kids Toys.
Battleships are called Dreadnoughts because kewl.
Would be to difficult to name ship classes according to task and specialty.
Escort sounds so much better then Corvette or Frigate.
Dreadnought instead of Battleship ask kids they will tell you Dreadnoughts must be the thing History is no reason to use proper designations.
I like the new ships… well i like the Klingon one more, but i'll buy both, still think they Will reléase a Jem and Rom versión, if not other varians, Roms and Jems does not have the same need for those ships, perhaps a new type or something.
Classic look of the New Orleans? You mean a floating kit-bashed wreck.
We need more of the floating debris ships of Wolf 359 before we get Romulan and Jem'Hadar Ships. Their contribution to canon was legendary.

The lack of romulan variant (or indeed JH as well) makes me care even less about these new ships.
