no, in this case I think cryptic's neglect for kdf is working for us for once. we don't need that trash... at all. and I'm normally pro anything for kdf.

However, I think I love the Discovery content coming to STO. I'm not very interested in mushroom teleportation, but the console and trait from the Klingon ship sound like they'll be fun and a bit useful for my tank build! Same thing with the resequencers. It's a shame I'd have to get 900 lobi to get the Walker's console, but you win some and lose some. The kit modules sound super fun, too. Kit cooldown reduction and damage spreading is nice.
The thing I'm most excited for, strangely, is the phaser auto rifle in the lobi store. If there's one thing I'm addicted to in this game, it's shooting really fast! (170% firing cycle speed in space currently!) So that'll be an interesting one to pick up.
Overall, I'm excited to use this stuff! Not because it's Discovery, but because it looks fun!

You can teleport to other places in the game....it's called Transwarp (which is way faster than portrayed in the TV Series (as in the game's warp drive)) and technically does the same as the Spore Drive when going places.
The best outfits in the show are Klingon? Kol is the only that wears something that a "real" Klingon might wear. All the other ones look like Scarrans from Farscape. And their ships are... well not Klingon. The Klingons are not Klingons. Bring back the real Klingons. The real Kahless who crafted the first batlh'eH from a lock of his own hair.
That being said, even of all the ships in Discovery look like they've been designed by lobotomized chimpanzees, I would not complain if I could get my hands on a Sarcophagus ship. Since Klingons became a spacefaring race just a few centuries earlier than humans I fail to see how this ship could be thousands of years old.
Not a lot of interest in the Crossfield either, if I got one by opening a lockbox, I'd likely just sell it and use the EC to buy something I would actually want.
As for the Walker Class, yes, I would gladly take one of those. It reminds me a bit of the Patrol Escorts but it's apparently a cruiser. And it's supposed to be "massive"? It really doesn't look to be all that big to me but, eh, whatever. As it is a Lobi ship, and I don't have anywhere near the amount of Lobi to buy one. I will only get one if I find it on the exchange for a fair price, which is unlikely to happen since my idea of fair doesn't equate to what others define it to mean.
Sad to see there is no T5 ship included. Could easily have taken one of the other Fed ships and done that but, again, whatever.
The Mudd outfit looks nice, doubt I'd bother getting it though.
The Full Auto Rifle and the EV suits both look really nice. The rifle I may try for, the EV suit, doubtful.
The vanity pet I will not bother with. I tend not to use them even if I have them and really, they just take up inventory space, so, pass.
Overall, not a lockbox I think I'll really bother with. If I find some of the items on the Exchange cheap enough, then of course I'll buy something. But wasting keys on this box isn't going to happen for me.
