Now here is a ship design worthy of a Star Trek spoof done right!
They should cancel MacFarlane's Boreville garbage and bring in Tim Allen and cast back for a Galaxy Quest series. That movie was pure gold-pressed latinum. Sadly Alan Rickman isn't with us anymore... RIP Severus Snape.
I have a crazy question. Why does the 100+ year old light exploration cruiser Walker class ship have the same level of forward firepower as the Scimitar, which is a massive ship that is purpose built for combat?
Yeah I know, this game ceased trying to make much sense a long time ago. I'd ask if you guys ever plan on going back and re-balancing the older ships in light of the newer ones but I think I already know the answer to that.
Refit is a very common thing in Star Trek.
So are Q-ships and putting a lesser-century appearance on a bundle of all-new 25th century technology based on the lesser-century tech.

Yeah really. These ships aren't 200 years old. They're newly produced using state of the art tech. They're only the same as the old stuff on the outside.
I'm not enamored with the Discovery Lock Box as some are, but I do have to compliment whomever created the loading screen for displaying the Discovery ships, uniforms, & etc. I know a small detail, but it was still well done.

Some of us LIKE Orville.
DEAL WITH IT.
Aye, The Orville is just fine, it has a few ups & downs but imo the heights far out weigh any depths it has & simply I enjoy it more than I thought I would.
That being said, Galaxy Quest was a good throw-back montage movie indeed & it is a shame no complete sequel is possible.
Neither have anything to do with STO directly so either of these being introduced into STO in any fashion is a mere pipe-dream.
Besides, imagine what Cryptic would charge for either of those given that their would be even more royalty rights in the cost.
Cryptic has the mentality of: our attraction has lost attendance so to compensate we're going to raise the ticket price.
