The Nukara issue has already been fixed, and will be ready for the next time this Endeavor comes around, but the fix does require a game update and we didn't want to bring the game down for a couple of hours during a long weekend.
How long a weekend do you have that tuesday & wednesday fall into it?
You may want to get your livers checked if the weekend stretches that far.
Yesterday was a holiday in the US - Labor Day. They were off. They probably came up with the fix this morning. No chance to deploy today. If they brought the servers down tomorrow, Wednesday, then they'd be bringing them down two days in a row as Thursday is Maintenance Day.

Well if you go to the cave for the Exterior or the Elevator in the Interior you can go to or enter a place that says HARD. It will get you into the Queue for those two Missions. Works just like the Borg, Tholian, or Elachi Red Alerts.
People can rightly think that there are HARD missions there, regardless of the mechanism used to get you into it.
You go to the elevator in the Interior and it gives you two choices Medium Difficulty (Yellow) or Hard Difficulty (Red). You click on the Red and you are put in the PVE Queue System for 'Scheduled Self Destruct'.
For the Exterior you go to the cave and click on the Red (Hard Difficulty) and you are put in the PVE Queue System for 'Transdimensional Tactics'.
You can also get those same Missions via the PVE Queue UI directly, just like you can do for the Red Alerts. Either the PVE Queue UI directly or by clicking on the Red Alert button in Sector Space that provides an alternate mechanism for invoking the PVE Queue UI.
STOWiki says 'Both [Hard] missions are accessed via the PvE Queue.'

Did the Hard "Transdimensional Tactics" and beat the Captain there and nothing happened. The Endeavor queue still does not count the kill as valid. Wouldn't a quick fix be to change the mission criteria to say 20 Lieutenants or something? Those can still be found underground in the "Medium" missions by the dozen.
They've already fixed it. Not that it matters since patch is on thursday and the endeavor will change efore that.
The 'Project Leaders' are not considered as 'Captains' for the Endeavor.

have they fixed the bug yet for transdimensional tactics? i.e when you go to Nukara it automatically appears at the side of the screen (but not in the mission list) without accepting any missions and will not go away until you abort mission and return to your ship.

well since this conversation has picked up again... its an interesting idea and sometimes kicks players into under used content. Overall tho, it doesnt change how I play much and the rewards are mostly bleh, so the incentive is minimal
In terms of getting people in to content they normally ignore; yes it works.
But only temporarily.
Take that Nukara one (ignoring that is was broken) or the current New Romulus one. Both have filled those planets up really well for the short period they are on. Players are really getting involved in these brief periods of trying different content.
But................
After they get their box of freebies they just go back to ignoring the content again. Or the majority seem to do so. Therefore the system doesn't really fix the problem of people on the whole just playing a tiny minority of content missions over and over whilst ignoring the vast majority of the game.
With Endeavor's release on consoles I've given it three goes. It's been pretty easy to satisfy but given the frequency of the missions I find the rewards to be lacklustre. Random crafting supplies, marks and maybe dilithium doesn't seem enough to me. Still, it gives something to do between queues so I guess there's that.
It does seem that when first introduced on the PC there were more Mark Rewards then I have been getting recently.

Let's see.. So far it's a nice addition to the game. But, the timer between could use some work. One every two day?
But, I can also see it as a means to get players out doing things. If nothing else, it will bring to light, all the old bugs that have been reported and left unfixed over the years. So there is that.
I was on Kobali Prime with a Character that's been running 'Breaking the Wall' and 'With our Last Breath' daily. Yesterday, after the run I noticed that I had half the Kill Commanders Endeavor done already, so I ran around a bit and had that completed fairly easily.
By the way, nice change they made with those two Missions. You run them once and get both the Ancient Power Cells and Iconian Probe Datacores. They did the same with the Terran and Temporal stuff in The Badlands.

I did mine on Nimbus while looking for an accolade I'd missed...was amused the scorpions in the desert count as commanders.

Just so long as you don't do the Endeavor System in bed.
