Myself. What a horrible waste of time this game has been. Glad I only spent $5 on it and I probably didn't get my money's worth. Content was either ridiculously easy, ridiculously difficult or ridiculously repetitive.

Hate to play Devil's Advocate, since I actually like the reboot movies, but someone's gonna say "doesn't apply because that isn't Prime Universe".

On the other hand, Starfleet regulations may differ from US army regulations. After all, regulations already differ in other countries.

As for the topic: people who spam zone chat with their political soapboxing, whether I agree or not.

Every single KT Universe ship. There was absolutley no need to bring that universe into this game. The time and effort should have been spent on expanding the game like adding deep space missions that are along the line of found missions on the Dyson Sphere. You do a patrol TRIBBLE system mission and randomly either on the surface or in wreckage you find a deep space mission. That would have been a far better use of the resources then bring JJ Trek in to this game.

    This again?

It's exactly ONE mission in the whole game, using assets for Ragnarok, and lockbox ships that have as much if not more rights to exist than the various Annoraxes, timeships and Sphere Builder ships (that normally can't survive long outside an Expanse).

The mission itself also connects to the Prime timeline (namely, featuring the USS Yorktown and her admiral, both important to the 23rd century hero, and also showing just how dangerous the Sphere Builders really are), so it's not gratuitous.

Starfleet people saluting as if they are in the army. And tailor restrictions.

I support this, but only because saluting is only appropriate while outside and wearing a cover. Obviously Starfleet doesn't include headwear as part of the uniform, and we spend 90% of our "ground" time indoors, so NPCs saluting is something that we should very rarely, if ever, see.

Outside of one mission, this game takes place in the Prime Universe, not the JJ Universe, and no Prime Universe Starfleet uniform has ever featured a cover.

I would like to remove the restriction arbitrarily placed on a handful of Romulan vessels that prevent them from having the IRW prefix.

Technically, I believe the ones without the IRW prefix are Republic specific designs that never saw service with the Romulan Star Empire, so lore wise why would they have the IRW prefix if they were never Imperial to begin with?

Honestly? Not sure if that's even true.

And even so, virtually all T6 Romulan ships can use the skin of a vessel that was potentially in service of the Empire. It's a silly restriction that is either accidental or painfully arbitrary.

For me, the entire space and ship mechanics. I'd replace them with true 3D flight, actual Canon weapon arcs and hardpoints (basically introducing actual tactical battles like in SFC 3), bring back the coloured shielding, actual live damage skin maps and live ship systems damage and repairs (like in SFC 3), power constraints (no more infinate power to weapons).

I'd also get rid of the 26th and 31st Century ships and the T6 TOS Connie. There's just no point to them and the Connie just does not make sense! And before anyone says anything I have the Connie, it's too OP for it's size!!

no... you are confusing the UFP for everything else in that universe... the Klingon Empire was not about that nor the Spoonhead Union, Romulan Star Empire, or almost any other government they ran into.

Its quite simple really, some people DO NOT WANT to be a good little fed-lemming, others want to do that AND something else... go fig.

For me it would be the faction restrictions in armadas, would be great to have our klingon allies with us in our armada.
That or Benthans in Korfez XD

RNG, hands down. Not because I believe there's no place for it, but because the development team is so overly reliant on it. Banning it could generate some serious creativity.

    good choice...
Im tempted to say Gecko.... but I think I'll go with "repetitive grind mechanics" as endgame

If there was no end-game grind I would have quit a long time ago. That goes for everyone else too, including you. If there is no grind then what reason do you have to login at all? The whole "I hate grind" argument is shortsighted and old.

If there was something I would remove from game, I would remove.... no, scratch that, I would not remove anything. I may move something around or add some things but I would not remove anything.

Well, there was that hat in Pike's quarters in "The Cage."latest?cb=20090711070123&path-prefix=en
This is an MMO, not a Star Trek episode simulator. That would make for a terrible game.

Fleet ships. It's ridiculous that you spend 3000 for a ship, yet have to then spend another 500 and be in a fleet to get the real version. The hit points isn't a big deal, but the extra console slot is.

The destruction of Romulus, good way to reboot the entire STO plot. It can still be made to work with enough creative thinking.

But honorable mention to removing blasted tailor categories and color restrictions!

That paused crouch moment after rolling that they implemented a lil while back..

YES PLZ! That and the inability to crouch spam while running needs to come back!

I def agree on lifting the costume restrictions, especially for klingons.

@smokebailey, with your 3d work, I'd think you'd like higher quality customizable toons, not just the tailor unlocked. ;)B)

Oh that's easy. The Jupiter-class Carrier. We got rid of it once before only to have it come back with a brand new yet still somehow just as crappy look. That bloated hull, those ugly differently-sized nacelle pairs, and it's so big that you can't help but look at it...
