If Charlie had looked more like a flying saucer and less like a weird-looking frizbee, I would certainly have voted for it. The perspectives drawn for both Charlie and Echo didn't help matters and all of the ships look far too flat or thin. Charlie's top side curvature is barely discernible.
But Alpha has the clean lines and detail of something that looks like it flies through space, so it edged out Charlie for my vote.
Echo looks too much like a boomerang for me to take it seriously.
A unique species should have a unique design....a triangle and a saucer (without "nacelles" and a "hull") seems too "cliched" for a warp capable species...
I really want Echo to win, but I'd love it even more if we got a version of the final two that didn't win down the road. Pretty please, especially since you teased us with the concept art!
Gag Alpha looks like the lame Atlantis Models TSR3 kit and another fed ship. Nothing unique there. All it needs is a set of fed markings and the name U.S.S. Lame nub ship

51 + 1 Foundry Character Slots is NOT enough. Some of us love our characters. If I want to buy more character slots, why can't I? I couldn't experience the entire Delta Recruitment event without deleting a character.
The Iconians themselves can't time travel because their memories revert, but there is nothing to say an Iconian couldn't write everything she needed to do on a PADD, pin it to herself, travel back, read the PADD, do the tasks and return. Or just get one of her Non-Herald underlings to go back in time for her.
Oh yeah, I do Foundry missions for both KDFs and Feds. Just search KSTF (Short for Kinas Special Task Force, where Kinas is the name of the Admiral you will be serving under). The earlier ones are less story based and more combat based, while the later ones have a much heavier story element, but keep the large battles.

Not saying the flying triangle is bad, but seemed to me like the least-likely to win, compared to some of the more interesting and unique looks going on here.

Alpha looks the most fitting for a young species. It's also one I can (more or less) imagine flying after the anniversary. Not something I can say about Charlie.

Really hard to decide between alpha and charlie for me, but finally went Charlie as it is a more unique shape as a standalone ship. Okay it may get confused as a saucer pet but hey ho..

Augh, they're all really cool, and I want all of them! However, Alpha seems a bit too aggressive, and Echo seems a bit too intricate for what basically amounts to babby's first starship. So I'm going to have to go with Team Charlie on this one for lore reasons. Also, Tom Paris is advising on it, and I think he's be all for anything that looks like a cheesy, old-timey UFO.
PLEASE, for the love of all that is chocolate. If your advice involves me spending IRL money on this game, save us both the trouble and don't bother. I've already spent as much money as I can afford on this game. Thank you for your time.
