True alters don't have a "main". Account wide unlocks for all unique event rewards!!
So looking at this. Is our little time travel escapade going to see us have to deal with a timeline where the Borg successfully assimilated the Enterprise-E? Could they have gotten Stewart or Frakes? Or Spiner for that matter...in STO canon, Data is the last Captain of the Enterprise-E after all.

gone from getting virtual gifts (ships, boffs, clothes) to getting virtual virtual gifts (admiralty cards of ships, doff cards). Next giveaway will be virtual virtual virtual gifts (vouchers towards an admiralty card of a t6 ship)

It means you can have more than 1 (or more than 3) Ground Warfare Specialists if one of them is Falconer. More than 2 (or 4) if another is Ang the Vicious.

Seems like the giveaways were better before admiralty cards. I don't understand how people are excited about clicky things with timers. Didn't we used to get outfits and ships?
Could some clever person explain what "Neal Falconer does not count toward the player's Ground Warfare Specialist eqip limit when placed on active duty." means as my brain has been assimilated and it makes no sense to me.

This is correct. The duty officer still counts towards the maximum ground duty officers that you can have active (5, or 6 if you have purchased the extra slot from the fleet spire), but it does not count towards the limit of 1 Ground Warfare Specialist.
One of my characters (KDF) can't claim the borg doff after possibly trying to claim it with a full inventory.
I don't remember if it was or not but I did make sure it was clear afterwards when I noticed that the doff wasn't showing up.
I tried reclaiming the box, and get told that I need to make more room in my roster. I went and reassigned uncommons, got down under the limit, tried again, and saw it say the same thing but telling me I can only have one unique item.
Support says apparently devs are aware of this:

Well they are running out of uniforms to give away. And the new uniforms that they're making they're putting in the G.D. Lobi store and lockboxes.
As for ships, we may get on yet, or in a future giveaway.
Keep in mind that ALL of these giveaways are specifically First Contact film based. Neal Mcdonough played Lt Hawk who was assimilated in the film, The Phoenix, An Assimilated Enterprise-E. So this isn't a normal thank you for playing we've had a great profitable year, here have this free stuff giveaway. It's quite nicely themed.

Not sure a cube ever made it back on first contact day, all the Borg ever got there was a probe. I do love how these giveaways all followed the story of first contact so if we were to get another giveaway it would probably be the Vulcan science ship that first noticed the Phoenix as it went on its maiden voyage.

Here and there i saw that some of you Guys (Cryptic member) said that you are thinking about that (sto forum, reddit e.t.c) so i would like to bring that up again since iam not just sure, but i KNOW that everyone would like to see that happen.
So how about making everyone happy and make a nice announcement like:
"We are excited to announce, that all Past and Future Event and Mission Unique Rewards will be Account Wide Unlocked!"
Iam still wating for this to happen more than anything else, and i know that iam by far nor the only one.
All the 14 Days Special Event Items: (NOT THE DILL AND NOT THE MARKS) like Hakeev Purple Doff, that other Female whatever her name was Purple Doff, Zafram Shotgun, Crystaline Torpedo, Crystal Shard kit Mod, the latest Voth Ship Admiralty Card e.t.c
And the Mission Limited Time Unique Rewards like: Reman/Breen Boff, Shards of Possibilities, Ophidian Cain, Kobali and Iconian Costume, the Ferengi Dance? (cant remember whether or not that was account wide) and whatever other Unique Rewards i may have forgot to mention here. If we have those Items on at least 1 Character, than those also should be Account Wide Unlocked.

So as someone who has played this game since Beta, held a lifetime subscription since the start, collects Borg items but who randomly was away for the past two days, there is no way for me to now ever get my hands on the Borg DOFF reward? That's it - game over for me being a completionist with DOFFs and Borg gear?
If so, then I may as well just stop playing, right?
If this was a fortnight-long offer, or monthly thing like stuff usually is, then fair enough. But 48 hours? With no repeat availability? All this does is annoy the hell out of players who miss it, which isn't a good thing for the game.
Seriously, what am I supposed to do now? Log off for a year until the Borg DOFF *maybe* is available again??
I missed the 1st year accolade on my alts. Will that accolade be available again or will I have to delete those characters?
Just the other day, I submitted a support ticket regarding an intended glitch. When your duty officer roster is maxed out, and you claim the promotional Borg duty officer, a reward box appears in your inventory. When you open the reward pack, the duty officer is placed in your overflow bag. Please note that this only happens if you have maxed out your duty officer roster. What happened in my case was I ended up having to reboot my launcher and the overflow bag disappeared, and there was no Borg duty officer in sight, either in my inventory nor in my duty officer roster. I should note that I had cleared a few spots in my duty officer roster before I rebooted the game launcher. When I logged back in, the Borg Doff was nowhere in sight. Claiming another Borg Duty Officer kept giving me the warning that I already have one.
Just today, I received a response that the developers are well aware of glitches regarding some of the promotional items and that they are looking into this problem. I thought I'd pass this information along to anyone who might not be aware of this but has experienced problems claiming the promotional items from the "First Contact" giveaway event.
Support informed me that I should keep an unopened Borg Duty Officer reward pack in my inventory until after this matter is cleared up. I would suggest that anyone experiencing this problem reclaim another Borg duty officer and keep it in your inventory until Cryptic fixes this glitch.
