Ehhhh... you could change the account password to something temporary (this step is possibly a bit overly paranoid, but whatever), log in from... somewhere... while on vacation, claim the stuff, and then change the password back when you get home. Assuming you have a smartphone and have linked its mail client to the mail account you use for STO, even Account Guard shouldn't stand in the way of such a scheme. If you choose to attempt it, that is.
How does one do that I will have access to wifi but no laptop but I will have my smart phone. My email is linked to my smart phone as well.
Take the game's folder on a USB drive and try to load it on the hotel's computer each day. Most computers in Latin America don't have any admin controls the way you see here in the US.
I actually failed to consider the amount of time it'd take to download the game when I posted - you should make sure you have a slightly faster way of starting it up, like the USB drive option.

Make sure you have 1 free Duty Officer Slot in case the overflow bag for whatever reason does not appear. I had forgotten to free 1 up on an alt and only after noticed the Overflow with this Doff in it, but can't confirm if the overflow was missing before I freed the slot. Either way, free up a slot, then check the promotions c-store tab and claim or use the -reclaim option there.

So yeah, the Borg arc is going to be worked on, like the Cardassian arc before it. A Borg Lock Box, aka Borg Lock Cube, is going to become available.
Considering this giveaway, there'll be Borg Duty Officers available, either in the DOff packages, like the Delta currently available, or they'll be part of the Borg Lock Cube awards.
Bit hard for phoenix to be a admiralty ship though... I mean the stat is gonna be 0.3 eng, 0.1 sci and 0 tac... It have to have some VERY useful special effect.

This one only works against Borg. The only thing that's special about him is that he works everywhere, like Ang the Vicious (the Breen from the S6 Tribble testing) did against Tholians.

Unfortunately the game thinks I still have the DOff and while I can get another box with the DOff inside, it won't let me open and reclaim it.

This is a well thought-out gift for us all since if you cannot currently use it you can still obtain & use eventually & it allows all future characters to be able to do the same. Sure it is just a DOFF, but a DOFF with really nice stats & a nice attribute for ground damage. Thanks & nice going Cryptic on this one.
Uhh.. propably silly - but you searched overflow bag in your inventory (and not somewhere in DOFF roster) - right ?
Of course, on the inventory screen is where the overflow bag is at if there are items in it. The issue will get fixed, eventually.
