Yes. We must have a level 50 character within each of the three factions to claim that factions level 50 starship from the C-store. My Romulan is only level 16, While I appreciate the gesture of a free Ar'Kif Retrofit, I won't benefit in this particular instance. And while I had previously unlocked the Excelsior Retrofit, I was pleased to unlock the Orion Marauder with my KDF character for free today.

I think they should simply take away something from everyone that already has all these ships. MAybe dedcut 10 spec points or 500,000 Dilithium or something.

This program, though reasonably normal at times, seems to have a strong affinity to classes belonging to the Cat 2.0 program. Questerius 2.7 will break down on occasion, resulting in garbage and nonsense messages whenever it occurs. Usually a hard reboot or pulling the plug solves the problem when that happens.

I just got back to the game for a week now, and i'm facing this TRIBBLE. It took me few days to download 1gb with TRIBBLE connection in my country and i'm sitting for 4.4gb more to download.

doesnt matter he has poor speed... wont be able to do 4.4g in 1 day. takes me 1 day to do 1 gig of data due to poor speeds. my plan is unlimited data so they (att) throttle me like crazy, max is 75 kb/s download... thats max. often it sits in the 60 range and can dip to 30s. before merger my isp gave me max of 1.5 mb/s after... att suddenly says due to distance I can only get 75kb. f'ing bs but oh well... thanks monopoly. course if I fork over 100 a month I can get better speeds.
BTW, update: computer hasn't had to go into the shop yet, so I was able to get in and claim my prize. With luck I can get the spec point tonight too, before it goes in (hello Intel ship trait!!!). Thanks!

The XP boost is still active, and for the Marauder Patrol Cruiser (formerly FDC) you only need to be level 40. Depending on how close each character is, you have doffing + Admiralty + gameplay to get you there by tomorrow morning. I bet you could cash in on at least one of the other two freebies... though if you caught the Marauder during the earlier Giveaway that also frees you up to pursue the Ar'Kif. I'd suggest getting a group set for Patrols, Path of the Warrior, or whatever and diving in... 60 or Spec might take awhile, but 40 (KDF) or 50 (Rom) is pretty doable atm.
[EDIT] Assuming you can get the patch done without running into Mac, network, or whatever other problems might compound the issue, of course.

The last one is nice. But I already have the Excelsior. The Marauder was given away before, so I got this from an earlier give away. That ship gave me the idea of using an carrier and playing around with it. Since then I like using carriers at times. Now the Romulan I didn't have, so I will grab it for my Romulan. So she will can use a carrier if she wants to.

Oooohhh yeaaahhh... well never mind then, you've only got doffing and gameplay at the bonus XP rate to get to 40 (KDF)/50 (Rom). No Admiralty for you, until you're actually an Admiral.
Still, that bonus XP rate actually feels like progression, even when operating at 60+, so it's got to be nice running 1->50.

I got the Legacy pack so I had 6 T5 Romulan ships and only 3 Romulan characters. So why get Arkif?
This is awesome if only i would be able to log in and not get this "Unable to start game client: Success" error. I like many others that keep posting in support forum are not able to log in. I hope we get an extension or receive some type of reward if we fail to miss this due to a game client error.

yes I had the Marauder Patrol Cruiser from a previous giveaway and that confused me a little, still I didn't have the other two ships and it was cool to get a free ship for my romulans for a change.
I must admit this load of free items shaped up to be something rather spectacular especially if you factor in the BTTF surfboard even though it was not officially part of the giveaway.
When I think about everything we've been through together,
maybe it's not the destination that matters, maybe it's the journey,
and if that journey takes a little longer,
so we can do something we all believe in,
I can't think of any place I'd rather be or any people I'd rather be with.
Great ships we got this day! Since the Marauder has been given away before, I only got 2 new ships out of the deal but I'm not complaining in the slightest. It's great getting the Rommie one especially because it completes my set.
