During your captain’s meteoric rise through the ranks, you have taken command of dozens of different starships! Put them to use in our new Admiralty system!
Ya I also noticed what looked like a T6 Gal-X :P
Also I cant wait for this, looks simple, but I could have some fun with this, finally have a use for the stupid amount of ships I own. Also, I think that a high end reward, maybe a crit for a last mission should be a T6 ship. Giving players access to a T6 ship in game thats not part of a timed event would be nice. And I mean flyable T6, I see you get Admiralty ships as a reward for some missions but I mean something players can fly themselves.

Not looking forward, as DOFFing across alts for XP is a grind already, this will add another 8 selection choices per character meaning 28 selections times however many characters you have, plus R&D, plus reputation. I'd rather go download and try other games that offer, you know, 3D gameplay with other people and with PVP from start to finish.
What would have been great is some RTS (Real time strategy) or turn-based environment which involves other people on a map where you decide where to position your ships, what systems to explore, discover profitable trade routes, allocate all ships account-wide without toon-hopping to defend/attack areas, and make the warp travel last days for each ship so it is epic, doesn't interfere with normal gameplay, and progress can be checked wherever. Of course that would be asking for a whole new simple game, which would detract from profits that I bet don't get reinvested into the game to expand its appeal.
So, for my Fed Tac to use a Nebula, which I've unlocked, he needs to claim it from the C-store (and optionally dismiss it)? Does the game remember ships that I dismissed years ago, levelling up?
I am so looking forward to this! And may I just see, me and people in my fleet had some fears that failed missions would result in ships being destroyed in the way that DOFFs can die. And I am so glad that is not the case. Bring it on!
I'm not sure how I feel about it. Doffing is not my favourite part of the game, but this does look interesting. I may find it fun as a novelty, but could get bored quickly. We'll see. For now, I'm looking forward to it.
I'm also looking forward to Romulan Campaign, tsk tsk! We're going to get it, right? RIGHT?
With the launch of Season 11, two Campaigns will be available immediately:
United Federation of Planets
Klingon Empire
Well, that's just asking for us to complain. C'mon.
The RR is too busy trying to figure out where Sela went, right now, to care about admirality missions. At least, that's what I think is the explanation.
Does the game remember ships that I dismissed years ago, levelling up?
You'll need to re-commission the ship at some point while the Admiralty System is active. You can dismiss it again afterwards, and retain access to your Admiralty Ship.

What about mission reward ships from Temporal Ambassador... that T3 ship we got as Fed/KDF... it's long since been dismissed. Or the T1 to T4 free ships you can get while leveling up... can you flag all those ships as on our roster to use from the start?
Another copy/paste game function, sadly. I feel bad for new players, since the Admiralty system is additional layers of complexity that really has nothing to do with Trek-like space action. Where is the exploration system that Cryptic's own poll revealed to be the most-desired STO feature??
And it's just sloth on Cryptic's part not to include a Romulan campaign from the start. IMO, the Romulan campaign would be the most interesting, since it would naturally involve subterfuge, deception, and scheming to increase their influence...

If the starship isn't actively commissioned in your ship roster at some point after the Admiralty System goes live, you will not have access to it's associated Admiralty Ship.

"Captains will only ever have access to a single Admiralty Ship per class of ship they have access to, but “Fleet” and “Mirror” versions of existing classes are counted as separate classes for this purpose."
If I'm reading this right, this means that Refit and Retrofit versions do not count? With the Akira for example, there would be 2 possible versions to obtain? (3 if there were a Mirror variant)
1) Heavy Escort / Heavy Escort Refit / Heavy Escort Carrier / Heavy Escort Carrier (T6)
2) Fleet Heavy Escort Carrier / Fleet Heavy Escort Carrier (T6)
Or do T6 versions count separately as well?

Someone definitely hasn't followed what the Romulan Republic is about.

Refits and Retrofits have always been separate Classes, so that distinction was assumed for the purposes of this Dev Blog. I guess we know what assumptions get ya.
In this example, there are 6 valid Classes that fall under "Heavy Escort" -- all that you've listed are separate Admiralty Ships.

A question of clarification related to this statement: "These availability lists are defined per player (not per map like with Duty Officers) and will persist through map changes, logouts, etc." When it means "per player", does this refer to the single toon, or all toons on the same account?
How exactly are those admirality ships claimed? Do we have to claim all the playable C-Store ships we own one by one to our ship roster to get the admirality ship card, or will those be available to us automatically?
Because I can't imagine claiming and discharging all the C-Store ships I own on all my alts just to get the cards...
Are the admirality ships claimable per character, or per account? For example, if I own a Fleet, Mirror, or Lockbox ship on one character, will I be able to get the admirality ship on another?
Will admirality ship cards be trade'able? Or, are there plans to release admirality ship cards that are not tied with a playable ship (like the Tier 10 Epic reward)?
Are ships assigned automatically to any given assignment, like doffs, or do we have to assign them individually ourselves?
Will shuttles have an admirality card?
Are T5 and T5U considered to be the same admirality ship? What about Bundle ships (like, Eng Vesta and Tac Vesta)?
Will Romulans have access to T1-T4 admirality ships of their allies?
KDF and ROM are clearly at a disadvantage when it comes to the number of T6 ships, when compared to the FEDs. This is especially the case when it comes to Science ships. Can we hope this will be addressed in the future so that the factions will have similar chances at different assignments?
How the system is planned to be monetized, aside from the ships themselves?
I like it. Looking forward to this very much. Many ships to claim and unpack!

Great news! I've dropped most of my Mirror Universe ships (boo) for space concerns, but the above more than makes up for it. I have a tonne still in-box - could be interesting for my new-ish Delta Recruits who have yet to work through all the ships they have access too.
I wonder - will Cryptic be publishing a complete list of all the ships values for admiralty program, or should the community start to build it? (No issues with doing it, but if we could get a data dump it would be a great start).

The other funny thing is that post:
So it is possible for the devs to give us a system to access dismissed lockbox ships since they can clearly keep track of ships we've obtained.
