Hmm...Lets see, as far as I can remember back. From Season 7 emergency maintenance all the way up until now they have had this problem. You would think by now they would anticipate something like this and be prepared.

I don't know where any of the people complaining work (if they work) but if,at you job there is a failure in some aspect, there will be time needed to fix said failure. It isn't like the game is gone.
I've worked in IT but I've also worked in customer service. Just give us more info, estimated times etc.
And if there isn't an exact ETA, what do they do? TRIBBLE and make corrections later (which doesn't help)? Cryptic's damage control here is perfectly in line with what just about every other service provider does with this kind of problem. Not having a precise answer certainly doesn't make us happy but sometimes precision isn't possible. You just have to wait until its done.
