The Heralds of the Iconians

The Iconians never truly disappeared. Their 'absence' have simply been marked by their servants - those who do their absolute bidding. The Solanae, the Elachi, the Vaadwaur all played a part in the Iconian's plans.
But these servitors pale in comparison to the Heralds.

Command Battlecruisers, Iconic Battleships, Fast Attack Ships (i.e. Saber-variant or Defiant/Birds-of-Prey Pilot ships) or Destroyers, and various Support Craft. Then throw a couple of carriers and their escorts in the mix.
Then we'll have some fun.
Note to self.. Forget BFAW...you get hit with one of those you're dead. Time to reinvest in hull and shields.. Oh and tell my chief engineer to add some nitrous to the warp core!

Are these vulnerable to torpedoes, or do we just shoot whatever we can at them? Warp cores included, of course.
So, Season 11 - Iconia Rising?
So, they're from the same planet. And after 200.000 years there are billions of Heralds but only few Iconians left, even though the Iconians were spread out through the entire Milky Way galaxy?
I hope there will be some story details on why exactly there are only a few Iconians left and why they chose to breed Heralds rather than reproduce.
Why would you need a science ship when you can obliterate anybody and anything with a pulsar?
Escorts and science vessels are usually lumped together with cruisers. All of their ships seem to have science abilities anyway.

The A'pex dreadnought looks like a frigin battlestar and the Elachi Sheshar looks like the Ron Moore version of a Basestar.
Oh and for homage sake can we please have one of the Harbingers say "We are the vanguard of your destruction."

Ok, that settles it ... the Iconians lost their balls in the Orbital Bombardment thus that's why they cannot reproduce anymore ... so good news folks we can beat these sissies! ^^

hmm.. I guess it would also explain why the Elachi are transforming their victims into new Elachi... they may be working on a solution for the Iconians' infertility, much the same way the Kobali did.
Then again, I find it hard to believe that the most advanced species we encounter in STO is as good as extinct with only a few survivors remaining who are still angry for something we didn't even do. It's also hard to believe they wouldn't be able to find a solution to their possible problems. It makes them a bit less impressive for me.
Sorry guys, but I'm just not feeling it. All of this is anticlimactic to me. Very dry, full of elements already seen in this game and other sci-fi shows.

1) Why would a Type III civilization with the ability to colonize more geography orbiting one star than in most of the Class M planets in the galaxy combined give a flog about what goes on outside those walls?
2) Any plans on expanding the Trek universe back to Andromeda? If the Iconians had a presence out that way, I'm sure the Kelvans have a few bones to pick with them.
3) Given the level of development in the hierarchy of species the Iconians have at their disposal, it's starting to stretch credulity that they were actually more than inconvenienced by the loss of Iconia...with Dyson Spheres at their disposal, being cheesed off about the loss of Iconia seems...petty...after a quarter million years.
Really STO...the last game you'll want to borrow lore from right now is Guild Wars 2. They have Angel McCoy as writer...'nuff said.
